Hey girls... since the majority of you are married I figured I'd ask you guys. My bridal shower is on Saturday and I don't know what to get my girls as 'thank you' gifts. My MOH did pretty much all of the work, but 2 of my bridesmaids are also 'hosting' as they helped with the costs. I'd like to get them little somethings as a 'thank you' along with writing nice cards. Did you give the person/s who hosted your bridal shower a gift, and if yes, what?
Also... what'd you do for bridesmaid gifts for the wedding? Jewelery? I have an idea in the mix, but I'm just curious what you guys did cause I'm still open to other ideas.
Thanks in advance

I declined showers so I'm no help there. I have never seen anyone get a gift for giving a shower either.
For gifts on the wedding day I got got the girls really nice travel jewelry cases that were made of silk and could be rolled up, also they each got a vintage hanky. The guys got travel alarm clocks that were leather.

I didn't give gifts for hosting my bridal shower (as it was my parents and my wedding party had nothing to do with it. HAHA.)
For the wedding I gave the girls a nice necklace to wear in the wedding and the boys got windup pocket watches.

My gosh Shan! It's so close! I can't believe how time is flying lately! Is all your planning done? How are things going? I've missed so much!

No gifts for the shower, just thank you notes. My mom was instrumental in helping at the last minute with things, so I just wrote her a heartfelt note. My bridesmaids got handmade (by me) purses that looked like a wedge of pink grapefruit (well--I thought they were super cute!) and a really nice lipstick to wear for the ceremony.

My shower was thrown by the majority of the people at my shower -- so no presents. Just thank you cards. For the wedding though, I got them a really nice matching jewelry set.

I gave my shower hosts little sets of bath stuff. I went to bath and body works and bought the little travel size things and gave them bubble bath, lotion, & body wash!
For my bridesmaids for the wedding I got them the jewelry to wear on the day of the wedding!

I didn't give my shower hosts a gift, just a thank you. Plus it was my Mom that really did it all since I only had my sister as my MOH and no bridesmaids and she was young and didn't really do anything at all.
For gifts I paid for my sister's dress, shoes, jewelry, her hair and make up done the day of, and got her a nice bag from Land's End and filled it with beach stuff since she goes all the time in the summer (big towel, tons of different sunscreens and oils, lotions, flip flops, etc.) I got married at the end of May so it was practically summer and I think she really liked it.

I didn't have a shower so I can't help you there... but I did buy my MOH (she and the BM were the only wedding party we had) her jewelry for the ceremony and this really cute engagement ring key chain:
I thought it was so super-cute and fun and she LOVED it. Here is where you can order it: http://www.thingsfestive.weddingstar.com/product/6037

I don't know what to suggest since giving shower gifts is not something we typically do. Usually, we just give gifts to the bridal party.

I didn't give gifts to the people who hosted my shower, just thank you cards!! Our gifts to the wedding party were: For the girls: A beach bag that said "wedding party, ready for action" with there names engraved on it, A beach towel that said "What happens in Vegas, stays in vegas" A martini glass shaped key chain, a beer cozy that had little stick figures of the whole wedding party and there names underneath! For the Boys: A cigar humidor(a fancy box to keep all of your cigars) with a gold plaque with there names engraved on it, a cigar cutter, and 8 really fancy cigars!! Everyone seemed to love there's, they loved that they were useful, and pracitcal!! I got most of the stuff for the girls from personalcreations.com !!
