So even though I am a BTDT mommy - I need advice and just some words of encouragement so I know that I'm not alone. It's been so long since I was preggo that either I have forgotten this or I didn't experience this....but I am very sore. I'm just about 25 weeks and it feels like I went to the gym last night and did lower back and inner thigh exercises - however I have done nothing out of the ordinary....except carry around a baby who is growing every day supported by my pelvis.

Anyone else experience this kind of pain. The lower back pain is primarily on one side and hurts the most when I step down on that foot. It had been only happening at night when I started to settle down but yesterday it started in the afternoon. Anyone got any good stretches or exercises to suggest? I can't do anything strenous still but I can do stretches and relaxing stuff.

Oh the blessings of pregnancy

Oh yes, I have experienced this A LOT more this pregnancy and it started for me right about where you are in your pregnancy. It gets difficult doing everyday normal things and taking care of little ones doesn't it? I'm sorry you're in discomfort. I soaked in the tub 2-3 times a day, used heating pads, wore supportive comfortable shoes but all of this only relieved it for maybe 15 mins at a time and it would come back. I hope it eases up for you soon

Oh Lisa - good to know I'm not alone but I hate to hear that any of us have to feel this. When did yours ease up - or are you still experiencing it? I guess it is worse with a second (or more) pregnancy because we're chasing around other little ones...ahh. I wish I had more time to take care of myself during the day - but I work so I can't lay down or rest. The weekends are busy taking care of all the household stuff I can't do during the week. I need to suck it up and pay a babysitter to come and help me on the weekend I think so I can just nap a bit or something. My DH is working all weekends right now and my parents have been getting their "travels" out of their system before the new baby comes....so I'm down to paying for help! Oh well! It's worth it!

OMG!!!! I had to leave work earlier then I wanted and go home everyday cause my Siatic was HORRIABLE!!!! I have never had that problem before. I could only work about 4 hours before the pain would hit. By the time I would get home I could barely move and was hunched over all the time. It was horriable!

HUGS to you!!! I don't feel anything that bad... my crotch area is sore, from the cartilage softening and getting ready for labor... my hips hurt too. I like to sit on the floor and do stretches and it feels better.... and knock on wood, the last 2 days I have no soreness.

Hope you feel some relief soon and can get some much needed rest

Believe it or not, I had that pain in the beginning of my pregnancy with Adriana.. I think she was near my Siatic nerve.. Oddly enough, the pain disappeared in the middle of my 2nd trimester.. I got that pain usually when I was working.. I was on my feet 10 hours a day and I think that may had something to do with it..

I hope you feel better soon..
