Hello girls!

I was 36 wks this week. Here are a few pic DH took of me today. My belly has rounded out, and kinda just pokes out! I love feeling her move around. And I can't believe only 25 days til my "guess date". That takes me to 40 wks, but in my head I think I'll go to about 41 wks. My midwife recommended I drink red raspberry leaf tea to help tone my uterus and take EPO (evening primrose oil) to help soften my cervix. The EPO I'm suppose to take 3 orally and insert one up my hoo-haa on the nights we don't DTD. Both home remedies don't do anything to induce, but just help things along to make it easier. And I'm all for making my labor easier (ANYONE DO THESE 2 THINGS- AND WHAT CAN YOU TELL ME???)

My next midwife appt is next week at 37 wks then I go every week. Oh I started losing my plug a few days ago- first was a big mucusy glob that was about the size of an acorn- it was yellow and clear brownish- and then 2 days later I had a smaller piece, clear white-ish, consistency was like rubber cement. Called my midwife since I still had almost 2 wks til my next appt, and she said its normal, and doesn't mean anything, just my body is getting ready for labor. I still could have a full month before it all happens. I showed DH my plug pieces, and he thought they would look like beef jerky- his stupid friends put that in his head! haha

Ok here are the pics I promised! Thanks for reading

Here are a few pics of me at 36 wks:

DH and my hand- I want to do some maternity pics- maybe in a couple wks

And here are the 2 outfits I'm bringing for our baby girl- one will be for her hospital pics and the other will be her coming home outfit! I love the green flower one (has a bunny on it- and I'm due the week of Easter) with the hat and socks- prob will be the coming home outfit. The pink sleeper will prob be for her pics there. The hat is the same, but it matches both so well. I love daisies

You look great! And I love those outfits! I can't wait to see her!

I did both the red raspberry leaf tea and EPO with both boys. I don't know if they helped me out but I like to think so. Liam's labor was 6 hours 49 minutes and Lochlann's was 6 hours 20 minutes--start to finish! With Liam my water broke first and with Lochlann contractions started first. Good thing to because when my water broke with Lochlann he was born 50 minutes later and I was only 5-5 1/2 cm dilated when my water broke!

Just a little warning with the EPO up your hoo-ha. The next time you pee it will ooze out so get to the potty quickly! Even when I didn't pee again til the next morning I still would up with oil in my underwear if I didn't get there quick enough. LOL

You look freakin' amazing! Such a cute belly! I never lost a plug so I have no idea what it would be like - but the story about DH and the jerky is very funny!

I think maternity pics would be neat - you better get on that - you don't have long now. The baby looks like she's still up nice and high so the pics would look really nice I'm sure. I've thought about it - but I think I'm going to splurge on professional pics of the kids...like right after the baby is born (like Kate's fabulous pics of her kids). Pics of the kids would be nice to look at then my fat butt anyway! But if I could go back I would probably have gotten nice maternity pics during my first pregnancy.....

Your so cute and tiny still!!! I had to take my bar out a few days ago as it got sore and weepy, seems much better now its out so hoping it will heal quickly once I put the bar back in after baby is born, I run the bar through morning and night to keep it open.

Love the outfits!!! Love the lil bunny one!!!

you look great! Remember the hospital picture is only from nipple up so you wouldn't see the bunny in the photo. Also they have high flash so the darker shows better in the picture and doesn't wash them out as much. Both are cute!!!!

Oh and for the RRLT ask your midwife HOW much (mg) of the RR she wants---there is a HUGE difference in the amount in those teas! (I just learned this in my shopping)

I don't think I'm doing the green outfit for the hospital pic, the pink one.... I like the green one to come home in

And my midwife has this holistic store she is friends with the owner, and she knows what to mix, it RRL and a few other ingredients, I want to say hummel or something? I'll let you know when I get it on Tuesday!

You look perfect! I love the first outfit with the bunny. I drank a lot of red raspberry leaf tea in my 3rd tri but I'm not sure if it helped.
