I had my 36week u/s and appt today. She is still breach and up higher now, weighs appx 6lbs 6oz, measuring with the measuring tape at 38cm(38weeks). He said if she isn't flipped by my u/s on Monday then we will decide then, I can either have the Version(trying to turn her) or just schedule the c-section. I'm not sure what to do but I've herd many bad things about the versions, but I really dont want a c-section. I cannot do a breach vaginal delivery because there not very safe and with the GD the shoulders are usually larger then normall babies are any way so its even more un safe.

I'm a fingertip dialated and thinning he didn't say exactly how much though.

If anyone has any personal expierence on Versions/fliping the baby I'd like to know, I'm a big wimp and have herd they are very very pain ful. If we do the version it'd be Tuesday or Wedensday next week.

Still no internet access at home.

Hey Justine - I was wondering how you were! I have never even heard of versions so I have no advice - but I'm hoping she a late flipper and she'll surprise you and the doc and flip on her own. I would be scared to try a breach vag delivery too - so I'm sending flipping vibes! Maybe this will help her to know what to do - flip over baby

The problem is that at 34weeks she was head down in the canal and facing my back then flipped between 34-35weeks and now is in that position, they arent thinking she will flip, he said if not by 38-39weeks then she's not flipping.

I like your siggy! I think I would go with the c/s. I have heard trying to turn is very painful and they tend to flip back into place soon after. I'm going to hope that she turns back on her own before you have to have a c/s.

I have heard the versions are painful too. I would probably try natural ways to get her to flip first though. Here's a couple sites I found with some suggestions: http://pregnancychildbirth.suite101...._a_breech_baby
and
http://naturalpregnancyproject.com/1...al-childbirth/
I've also heard of putting a bag of ice or frozen veggies on your belly where her head is. She won't like the cold and may turn for you.

I really hope she turns for you and soon! If she turned this late in the game already I wouldn't be so quick to say she won't do it again even right up until birthday time!

I'm sorry that she is still breech! I would try to version. I know that it will be uncomfortable/a bit painful, but personally, I would try it before I said yes to a c-section. Hopefully she will turn on her own!

I would 100% try a version. I have had a few friends have them and they said they are not as bad as people make them sound. Also all but one of them it worked! And all baby's stayed in the right position. The one it didn't work ended up with a c/s and she said that was 50 times more painful to deal with then the version was.
Have you googles the thousands of "home" remedies to flip baby?
Laying on an iron board up side down, heat on bottom of belly cool on top, play music down by your who-ha, rub only the bottom of belly not top, chiropractor (since baby is breech insurance can pick it up sometimes!), acupuncture, there are tons of things LOL.
*sending flip vibes your way*

Justine I posted on your facebook, but I hope she flips for you soon! I posted on FB that you should be trying some home remedies... get on all fours, do the ice thing where her head is, bounce on a birth ball if you have one... talk to her, have your DH talk to her... whatever it takes!!! And I hope it works for you! I heard the version thing is super painful and risky so I hope you think about that before doing it.

Good luck hun for Kieran to flip

All fours!!!! I spent many hours reading, watching TV etc while on all fours flipping both my sons!! Both were successful.

Flip baby girl, flip!!!!!

I would go with a c-section, I don't agree with turning a baby, and lile Resi said they flip back round more often than not anyway.

I hope shes turned on her own by the U/S xx
