Ok I was all fine and dandy with not having a bump yet. But then today a girl posted her maternity photos! Others are taking about how people keep grabbing their belly. Or the new cute maternity clothes they are getting.
I haven't even had one person ask me if I was pregnant yet, I'm still wearing my skinny jeans or my regular ones with a belt. I have no bump at 22 weeks! This is getting ridiculous! Some people pointed out I am at the end of the DDC and to give it time....but then I popped over to the Aug group---and I'm a freak there also! *stomps feet and throws a tantrum--I WANT MY BUMP*

your tummy muscles are just sooo awesome that baby can't bear to want to stretch them out and potentially ruin them. baby just loves you and your flat tummy

Oh Angela... I know exactly how you are feeling. Go check out my belly pics... I really didn't pop til 24-25 weeks... and even then it was still just a tiny bump. At 27 weeks is when I think I really felt the bump!!! And now I have a football under my shirt!!! And its sooo fun now wearing all the maternity tops. I just started wearing a few of them at 30-32 weeks. I wore my regular jeans til about 22 weeks, but my hips started to get bigger and my little tight jeans were put in the back of my drawers!!!
So don't worry, a few more weeks and I bet your bump will be fabulous and everyone will ask you "when are you due?" Oh and the first time some one (stranger) asked me when I'm due, was when we were in Key West and I was 26 weeks preggo!!! So smile girl- you look fabulous!!!!!

Thanks ladies. Ok so I did an extra listen today on my Hypnobabies track....I'm back in my Bubble of Peace (BOP)!!! I do feel very fortunate that I am going slowly, I know many women would love to do it this way.....I guess its just a case of the you always want what you don't have. I'm sure once I get a big ol belly I will be wishing for a small one again! LOL

*hugs* Maybe this will help you:
I love my bump, it signifies the life i am growing and the fact that I had to work hard to get it -- but at times -- its annoying too and no one tells you that! I bump into doors, wall jams, cars, etc. I cant hug DH well anymore cause hes got a belly and I got a belly.... my cats cant sleep on me cause of the bump. I cant sleep on my stomach, JJ chooses which way i am allowed to sleep, i cant sleep on my stomach anymore, so nights sleeping its non-existent (like last night cause i couldn't get comfy) Plus, keep in mind -- your fit. I'm not. My ab muscles split at 10 weeks already and i am in PAIN every time i get outta bed. I feel like a turtle. I cant get up off of floors, getting out of the car is hard and painful -- i wish i had a small bump! I miss my old clothes and tons of other things... like sex. Cant do that either cause i'm a missionary girl and with DH being big, and me being big, it just doesn't happen. Maternity clothes CUTE? Shopping is the LAST thing i want to do, i spend 99% of my time in work scrubs or sweats. Trust me there is nothing cute about a shirt that makes your butt looks bigger then it has to be. I own a few summer tops but thats because once the summer is around, i am chopping off another day of work since i'll be quite pregnant by then and unable to do my job.
On the up side -- You don't have people telling you "Boy look at that belly its huge! How far along are you?" 6 months "Oh that's all?" or anything else annoying that makes you feel fat.
I hope that makes you laugh a little and feel better :-)

(((HUGGLES))) I envy your tummy!! You will soon have a very lovely bump and be the envy of many pregnant women! I do understand how you feel. I wanted to have a bump just to show off, rub and let people see. It's crazy!!

Anna's bump took a while to come in, but look how *gorgeous* it is now! Maybe this is a good thing--you won't get as big as most, so maybe your belly will just pop back to normal after the birth.

Awhh. Well, better that then everyone asking if you are having twins. The grass is always greener . . .
Anyways, that bump will be here before you know it! And besides, you can get a "fast bump" with baby #2 or #3 so you get to experience it all!
