It sounds like the beginnings of your plug - I never lost mine until I got an internal check during labour so I can't really comment on it but it was bloody. However, my friend lost her plug & didn't go into labour for another 2 weeks, so it doesn't guarantee labour.

But with the BHs I'd be wondering too. Where do you feel the pains? And what are they like? My first contraction was the same as my usual BH but I had AF type cramps in my lower back with the BH which was new.

If you are worried, I'd call up and describe the pains, times, the show you have had, etc. Just to ease your mind or.... confirm labour!

I'm on my computer now... my blackberry won't let me reply.

Still having the BHs every 6-10 minutes... non stop for the past almost 4 hrs.

It feels like strong mentural cramps... tight- I'm listening to my hypnobabies and a few of them have been sooo strong of pressure. I really have to concentrate while I have 1 to relax... and peace... and release... hypnobabies cues.

And almost 2 wks ago I lost some plug... mucusy and blobby and rubber cement like... but my midwife said its normal. Tonight was brown blood, like the beginning or end of a period.

And my BFF is on JM- she'll update if I go in, or DH said he would. BFF is mommydew- her name is Angie!

I said I was excited, but I don't want this to be it... I have stuff to do, and I want to go to 40 wks! I meant excited like I can do this if this is it!

Oh and I feel nothing in my back...just my belly area!

Not all women have pressure waves in their back (this is a GOOD THING!). Some just get belly some get mainly thighs....depends on each birthing time.

Ahhh maybe this is it Anna - oh my gosh I never went into labor on my own so I have nothing to add there.....but it sounds like your body is trying to do something for real here.

It seems like you're definitely in early labour. Perhaps you can call your M/W about the brown blood since you lost your mucus plug before. It's probably just remnants of it.
