Just now having a minute to come on here! I'm so in love it's crazy! I have to make this quick, Rylie will need to eat soon I had an accidental med free birth Got to the hospital around 7:30 AM and he put the gel in around 9:30 AM to get things going. I walked around until around 1:00 PM when he broke my water. Contractions were getting super intense so I got in the shower and labored in there until around 6. I got out and asked for an epi, which I got at around 7 PM, and it did NOTHING. I was 5 centimeters at this point. I was 10 centimeters in 1 hour so around 8 PM. My midwife told me to push once and then got called out for a more urgent delivery and I was told not to push so I was in absolute agony but I couldn't stop the pushes anymore, my body took over and it forced me to push and bring her down. The midwife came rushing back in the room at 8:20 and Rylie was born only 5 mins later. It was definitely the most painful thing ever but it was absolutely amazing and exhilarating. I was so amazed with myself when I realized I birthed her naturally. Not gonna lie, I wish the epi had worked haha. I have a pinched nerve in my neck from pushing so hard because I was in weird position... no one had time to support me or anything, Rylie wanted out LoL. My nurse thought she was going to have to deliver her... she was starting to pace the floor and you could tell she was worried and kept yelling out in the hall for anyone to help me LoL!! I'm breastfeeding Rylie and I ADORE it! I really regret never doing it with Taylor. She's a champ, her latch is great and I'm having no pain at all except for when the milk lets down but other then that I'm on cloud 9. Taylor's definitely been acting out, she's not too happy at the moment. She LOVES Rylie but she's furious with me. It will pass but I hate feeling like I've upset her whole little world. That's my update for now, I have to get to nursing my little muffin

Congrats Lisa! I just got through looking at the pics on your myspace! She is beautiful and you are too! Sorry the epi didn't work for you. I'm sure Taylor will be ok after a little adjustment period. And yay for breastfeeding!

Congrats on little Rylie. I'm sorry Taylor is acting out. On the brightside, at least she's doing so early instead of what Edward's doing and just NOW acting out about this birth of a new baby.

Congrats Lisa! I can't believe that happened with the epi (fear of mine #1). I'm sorry too that Taylor is unhappy -hopefully it'll all pass when she realizes that you're still her mommy and still love her alot (fear of mine #2 having number 2).
Can't wait to hear more about how life is with 2 little ones!
