If you recall, I posted a little over a week ago about spotting around the time I should have been O'ing!! The spotting lasted 3 days or so!! The first day of spotting which was CD 13 I had a positive opk...well I think it was positive!! DH and I DTD...just once though that day, and not again after that for several days!! The reason we didn't DTD anymore was because I I took another opk like 3 hours later and it was very negative!! Anyways, I talked to my DR about all of this and he said because of the spotting, the chance that I o'd was very slim!! I have no idea what my cerviz was doing or my CM!!! He said I should start provera this week and move on to next cycle!! My only concern is that today and yesterday my boobs have been sore!! Im not saying this means I am pregnant by any means, but maybe Af is on her way by herself!! What if I am pregnant??? The provera would be devistating to a baby!! If I O'd when the day after the positive OPK I would be 8dpo today!!! Should I wait a couple days, take an HPT and if it is neg start provera, or start now anyways because I probably didn't O in the first place??

Weird. I hear spotting and postive OPK and I think you were spotting BECAUSE you O'd. I geuss spotting for three days though is odd... probably not from the follie rupturing. Hmm. If I were you I'd def. wait to start the provera... it can't hurt anything to wait, and your'e guessing your 8DPO so you'd only be 'set back' a few days if you aren't pg.

Are you charting? Your temp would have spiked if you O'd. So if you got the spike I'd wait if you didn't I would just start the meds, because OPKs only tell us we could O not that we did.
If you don't chart---ummmm, I don't know thats hard. I don't know what I would do in that case.

Wait and test then start the provera. I could never live with myself if I were in your shoes and if I didn't wait and make sure and something happened? KWIM....good luck Morgan!

I would probably take your doctor's advice- he is the expert after all. When would you need to start taking the Provera? If you could postpone it just a couple days, then you would know for sure. You could take a FRER at 10 and 12 dpo and if it's negative, then there is a good chance that it's fine to start a new cycle.

No I would not start the provera. Alot of times dr's give us the advice that is meant for the "general public" and not those small percentages of people who say, for example have O spotting. I would DEFINITELY wait and test then start the provera if it is needed, like you said even if your not pregnant maybe AF is coming on her own.
