Alright ladies.. have a seat!
I've had enough with my cable company! I need to file a corporate complaint, since their customer service cant help me. First of all, we pay $85 a month we have a lot of channels.. the problem is that we can hardly ever watch the channels! Whether the cable is completely out, fuzzy, or skipping like a scratched DVD it just isnt worth $85 a month.. I have charter.. and big surprise they just filed pre-chapter 11! Their customer service is just as terrible as the cable service itself! Chris' parents like 1/4 mile away from us and hardly ever have problems. We have been told 6 times that they will have a service tech come out to the house.. not once have they ever showed up!
Today Chris called me and asked if I paid the cable bill.. well obviously, it's never late! He tells me that the box says "unathorized use" so we call and get no where! The tech tells me he cant help, the supervisor tells me he cant either so at this point I am beyond po'd

so I ask the supervisor to look into the records to see how many times we've called since we signed up with them in september.. well he comes back and says 2. I flipped out! We call every 2-3 weeks, and he tells me they only have a record of 2 calls! ***! So I said "listen, we call practically 2 times a month! Why is it that you see only 2 since September?" big shock he says "I'm not sure ma'am" well then he tells me "well we can give you a credit for the time that you have been without the cable.. but only within the last 30 days, and since today is the first time you've called in 30 days there is nothing to credit" I just called 2 1/2 weeks ago!!!
I am going to write a written complaint and send it certified mail. This has gone on too long. I have the supervisors name, but I dont have the dates of all my other calls, and since only 2 of them are recorded in their system I dont know what to do!
Help please! What is the best way to handle this situation? What would you do?
TIA!
