If you plan on having another child..

Will you find out the sex?
Change anything or try to change anything about your L&D?

We will definitely find out the sex, Nic and I both can't stand surprises like that.

I wouldn't change anything about my last labor but I wish I would have been awake for the c-section. I'm not sure if I will try for a VBAC or just go for a scheduled repeat c-section. If the doctors think theres a chance I will be able to be numb this time, I'd probably get the c-section.

We will find out. I'd rather not but it's very important to Ian that he know so we will. I'm thinking we won't be telling anyone though until after the baby is born.

Ideally, I want a homebirth with our next one. Other than that, there is nothing I would change. Well, maybe the hemorrhaging, I could do without that again. But, whatever.

We're already having our next baby! We did find out the sex - just like the first time....good thing too or our little girl would have had alot of brotherly boy hand me downs that would be useless. There is not much about my L&D I want to change. I want it to go just like Harrison's did actually. I had him a bit early (and I was over it and I am already over it with this one) but not so early that anything was wrong. I was induced so I didn't have to worry about is this it or what and even though I was induced I had him quickly and without any suffering. I got an epidural early on and it made me feel great the whole time and he pushed out easy and all was good. The only thing I don't want to happen again if I can do anything about it is I'd like not to have an episiotomy - even though mine was small and it healed really well and easily. I ended up fretting over its healing HA! I would also like to easily deliver the placenta...my doctor had to manually extract my placenta with DS and that was just weird - not painful or anything but weird. I'm hoping also that they don't have to take the baby to the nursery right away like they did with DS...his temp was low and I didn't get him in my room for 6 hours...so I couldn't nurse him right away - I'd like to nurse right away with this one. Maybe that will get it going better this time around.

I'm not sure if we will find out or not. It was soooo fun not knowing with Ben, even though it was kind of torturous at times! Jon wanted to find out with Ben, so perhaps we will find out with the next one so we can experience it both ways.

I would change EVERYTHING about my delivery experience. No induction, no IVs, no c-section...I am going to attempt a vbac next time. And if I have GD again, and IF my blood sugars are normal (like they WERE)...I will not agree to an induction. OH! And I'll be seeing the midwives instead of an OB.

Well, It wont be anytime soon for our next one but when we do we will find out what the sex is. And the only thing I would do differntly Is Try not to get the Epi....as loing as there's no back labor I can do It!

I'm not sure if we will find out the sex. With Edward we didn't, with Preston we did. I loved both worlds. Not knowing was exciting, but knowing made me feel more connected to Preston. So, I don't know. Probably because I will be so desperate to know if I'll be adding some Pink to my life.

And if it's at all possible, I'm going to find a doctor who will let me trial labor. I really want a v2bac.

Will you find out the sex? were not sure yet....since this is probably our last, then Im leaning twards making it a surprise!!

Change anything or try to change anything about your L&D? I want to try for a vaginal delivery. My doc was for a VBAC even 14 months after my first c-section, so this time around waiting about 3+ years, Im sure he'd go for it again! but if I cant, I dont mind having a c-section, I bouce back quickly from them thank god.

Change anything or try to change anything about your L&D? I think I would want to try for a VBAC. I feel a little cheated on not getting the whole experience. I would hope for NO induction and I might try to go without an epi.

Change anything or try to change anything about your L&D? Yes I want to be awake next time, in America and at least TRY to have a vaginal birth. I'm very bitter about what happened, I feel like I failed.

Change anything or try to change anything about your L&D? Nope but I hope its not too fast. Curty was 5 hours and Dustin 1. I just pray I make it to the hospital.
