I know everyone is different, but I am hoping to get some stats (and possibly pics) from some of you for your 16-18 week bellies. I am trying to decide whether or not we should try this month or skip it. I SO don't want to skip this month; then again, call me vain, but I don't want a big ol' belly at my wedding (not that baby bellies aren't beautiful, just not necessarily what I want in my wedding).
If we were to get pregnant this month and we were to get married when we are thinking about, I would be 16 to 18 weeks pregnant at the wedding. I am starting out at about 5'7", 130 lbs. I was thinking I could wear one of those under garments that contain bellies/wobbly bits, if it is safe for baby at that point in the pregnancy. So, that being said, do you think I would be able to hide it fairly well at 16 to 18 weeks? How much at that point is bloat and how much is hard belly? Can it be "contained"?
If anyone is/was close to my build and would like to post pics of themselves around 16 to 18 weeks pregnant, that would be really helpful!

I don't know if I'm a good example because I tend to "pop" early but I had quite the belly at that time with both boys. I'm 5'9" and was 140lbs when I got pregnant with Liam. I don't have any pics from his pregnancy but I was the same size as I was with Lochlann at the same time. This is me at 18 weeks:
No bloat to speak of, this was all baby! There was no "containing" this belly.
Of course this is what I looked like at just 6 weeks too, so...
Like I said, I was an early popper with both boys.

You can look at my bump thread....I have a 16 to 18 week pic I think - but I'm smaller than you (5' 2 110 pounds) starting out so I'm probably not a good example but I could have probably "hidden" both of my belly's. But I wouldn't have wanted to worry about all that....being preggo can make you uncomfortable for different reasons at different times physically.

Well, here's me at my wedding 14 weeks, 1 day pregnant.
Flowers make a great way to hide the tummy, although with the cut of my dress, i was told all night no one could tell i was pregnant. (A-Line with fabric gathering at one side of the waist) The photographer didn't even know I was pregnant until the end when we asked for some belly holding pictures. I was thinking about wearing some kinda compression garment, but i tried one on and it was VERY uncomfortable. At 16 weeks, i didn't really have a hard belly, it was the last week i slept on my stomach though. I was more concerned about my girls falling out of the top then anything cause i went from a 36C to a 38/40C.
I'm about your size (5 foot 6, 128 pounds pre-pregnancy, size 9 juniors jeans -- I have wide hips)
16 weeks:
18 weeks:
I bought my wedding dress in May at a size 6 which is what i was pre-preggo. By Dec 24th (4 weeks before my wedding), my dress jumped to a size 12 (my slip went from a size 8 to a size 14) just to be able to fit my expanding boobs and belly. So your dress will need to be a last minute choice and you need to make sure you give yourself another 4 weeks of growing room too when they start taking things in.
I really didn't want a belly in my wedding pictures either, and its not there all cause of the style of dress i chose (which in May i wasn't thinking about being preggo at my wedding at all! I just lucked out)

Honestly, I would much rather be 16 weeks preggers at my wedding than 10-12... for me, those times were the WORST for the morning sickness, and i was really throwing up all day long, or dry heaving. So, if it were me, I would rather have a bit of a belly.

since Im so tall (5'11) and a bigger woman (180lbs makes me look skinny!!) I never showed till around 20+ weeks. It really depends on your body type. Now, Miss ANGELA is not an example to go by But Id go with Lauren, Id rather be out of my first trimester if Im going to be getting married. Yes, I was 7 months pregnant when I got married - and even then didnt look too pregnant...I dunno see for yourself:
Hope this helps!!

Oh i should probably mention, the morning of my wedding, I was throwing up. So sometimes being further along isn't such a bad thing :-) My morning sickness was gone by week 16/17.

Ditto the morning sickness thing! I would rather have a belly for my wedding than be throwing up the entire day and not be able to function. "Morning sickness" ended for me at 15 weeks with Liam and was under control with medication by 13 weeks with Lochy but not fully gone til about 20-21 weeks (I had HG with Lochy and threw up every single thing that went in my mouth).

This is me at 16-18 weeks, I believe. I was very bloated so there was no fitting into my regular jeans. But everyone has told me I'm small anyways during this pregnancy. Oh and I started just a tad heavier than you.

Well it makes more sense to show you my first pregnancy as it will be more like your experience.
This is me at 17w with Curty.
I started real skinny. I was 120 tops and 5'4"

This is 17 weeks, I guess I just wouldn't want to be pregnant at my wedding at all LOL!
Before I started showing I felt sick, and then after I started showing I would have felt like a fat cow. Well...and I want to have a tight fitting dress too so that might be part of it. If you went with an empire waist or something you would be fine.
