It makes a change from 2-3 hourly! It may have been a fluke though, she slept 5 hours solid one night last week then was back to 1½-2 hours. Maybe it's a little unsettled until she can get a routine. I've found that if she is awake from 4pm-5pm, then feeds & has a 30 min nap around 5pm. Feeds 6pm. Bath at 7pm and feed when she is out of the bath... she takes a HUGE feed after her bath and is set for bed around 7:45pm. Seems to have done the trick the last few nights. Long may it continue!
Mari, her app went fine, the 8 week checks were all "normal", things like holding her head, following items with her eyes, responding to my voice, etc. Her jags... OMGosh!!! She got 1 jag in each hip, and my poor baby cried. It's the first time I'd heard that particular cry, I think it was the fright more than anything. But it made me cry I couldn't stop the tears!!! I was so embarassed but the doc was lovely, she said loads of mummy's cry when their baby gets their jags!
She' has to go back for the next set at 12 weeks, so in another months time

The shots are awful! I've never heard them called jags before.
Which shots did she get? Was it the DpT? I ask because you said she got 2 shots in each hip. Amara got 2 shots in her thighs and then drops in her mouth. I think the drops were for polio. Her next shots aren't until 4 months. I thought that we were on the same schedule, i.e., Barbados and the UK.

It was 1 shot/jag in each thigh (altho I said hip, same thing )
You are correct, the drops are for polio but here they combine it within the injections. They were for Diptheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, HIB and PCV
She gets diptheria, tetanus, whooping cough, polio, HIB and meningococcal C at 4 months
Then there's another set at 12 months, 13 months, then another set between 3½-5 yrs.

I guess our schedule is slightly different. They get shots at 2, 4 and 6 months and then 12months, etc.
