Oliver started throwing up about 40 mins ago. His babyfood came up with his milk. It's happened at least 4 times. What can this be? He keeps crying and I can't make him feel better.
He clunked his head into Damon's teeth about an 1.5 ago. Also, I fed him a very small amount of a very ripe banana early around dinner time. Could it have made him sick? He has had banana about three times before without any problems but wasn't crazy about it.
Should we take him to the ER if he keeps throwing up? Anything other ideas or what I should do for him? He doesn't have a temp.

Around 9 months Harrison started vomiting really hard and alot in the middle of the night - I did my best to make him feel better and let him sleep on me on the couch - he kept waking up to vomit. I took him to the ped in the morning first thing and turned out he had the flu....then we all got it. It's still lingering onto flu season now so that might be what it is. It came on all of a sudden with harrison and without warning....and it happened that way with all of us....my mom, me and my dad (they helped me watch him both while I worked and then while I was sick). It was awful. My sister's whole family got it a month or so ago - her 5 month old and 3 and 4 year olds...poor babies.

No fever, hasn't nursed since getting sick, was more fussy than normal but it was way past his bedtime. He is fast asleep right now. I hope that he wakes up to nurse soon because he was so tired he wasn't interested before falling asleep. I don't want him to get dehydrated.

I have no advice but I hope he feels better soon! Ever since I was about a year old (so my parents tell me) when I get over tired I get sick to my stomach, and it doesnt go away until I catch up on my sleep.

Oh no, I hope he's ok! You said he clunked his head, was it hard or just a bump? I'd keep checking on him and when he wakes again check his pupils just to make sure (I get hugely paranoid though and know this is over reacting). Most likely its just a little bug and will probably go away but if he isn't any better by the morning I'd take him in to the doctor.

If he wakes up and nurses I would say keep an eye on him, if he doesn't nurse throughout the night then I would take him in to the ped office when it opens.

When was the last time he nursed (even tho he threw it up). Try to keep in mind that babies can (we wish!!) sleep for 12 hours solid through the night, so they manage ok without dehydration. I'm not dismissing that he has been sick, but just trying to reassure you on the time frame.
Sounds like he has a bug, poor little guy. How have his nappies been? Any diarreah?

I'm so glad he's feeling better!!! Maybe his tummy was extra full last night? Lochlann would (and still does sometimes) throw up when he was too full. When he was around 8-9 months old he wouldn't stop eating when he was full. He'd eat and eat until he puked. Thankfully he did learn to stop when he was full though.
