My doctor wanted me to switch to a prescription prenatal multivitamin (I was taking One-A-Day Prenatal Multivitamins and DHA/EPA), so she prescribed Prenatal Plus, which is manufactured by Amneal (it is a yellowish oblong shaped tablet imprinted with a G12 on the front). I filled my prescription and it came with absolutely no supplement information! Sure, it listed warnings, interactions, blah blah blah - but I'd like to know how much of everything is in my vitamin, that way if it's a little low on anything I can make up for it in my diet. I don't even know if this particular one has iron or not (I'm assuming it does, but there are prescription prenatals without iron). I work in a health center, so I went to OUR pharmacy and asked if they could look it up. They did and there was NO available information, besides what I had already gotten! Even our pharmacist was shocked, since usually vitamins come with this information available to them in case the patient has any interactions with certain components... I googled it, but I can't find the supplement information. I even went directly to the Amneal web site and the section with product information is "under construction." What now? There's an 800 number, should I call and see if they can mail me a copy of this information? Is there some other magical place I could be looking for it that I am unaware of? I'll probably just call, but I wanted to see if any of you knew something that I didn't.

Wow...I know I'm rehashing an older post with a not so helpful comment, but that would bug me too! Hope you find the info.

Strange.. Prenatal pills usually have the drug information on the back of the bulk bottle. I've been working in a Pharmacy for 10 years.. That's why I found this strange.. But then again, if your Pharmacy at work isn't familiar with that particular prenatal drug, then they wouldn't know the information..

But here is my research..

If you click here, you'll see that your pills are called Stuart Plus. Which is the Brand name of the drug..

Here's some information

**Look at the NDC numbers on both links and you'll see that they match up..

I had to use my googling skills to find this.. But I can do more research at work for you on Friday (I'm off the next 2 days). If I don't have time on Friday, I'll have the time to do it over the weekend..

I hope this helps..

To find the ingredient information for Amneal Prenatal plus.

Go to Amneal Pharmaceuticals website by typing in google or other search engine
Then go to Our products on the menu bar
Then pick Product Catalog
Click the P for Prenatal Plus
You should see Prenatal PLus otherwise scroll till you see it, its alphabetical
There are two different versions
The Pharmacist should give you the number although you can get a general idea both are basically the same
Click on detail link next to the picture
Once the brief synopsis of the vitamin comes up
You will see the picture of the tablets, you need to go to the pdf that says Product label and click
This will download the ingredients and other information
If you can't access it for some reason I can forward the list

I noted these are also Kosher certified.
