Hoping it's my bloody show

Had my 38 week appt. yesterday and was seriously disappointed that I am not dilated yet. She tired to keep me hopeful and said it could still change at any point. I just left my appt. crying and then ate a king sized candy bar.

I've had my cervix checked many times in the past few weeks and it's never irritated me. Last night I started getting pink CM. I'm really praying that it's the beginning of my bloody show and not just from the exam.

oooh sounds promising! try to get out walking, or if your house has stairs, go up & down them a few times every so often!

I hope its the show too

- but the further you get the more an exam can irritate it. I remember when I had my non-stress test with DS at like 35 weeks and it showed lots of contractions, so I went over to my doctor and my bp was high and he checked me and I was like 2 cm dialated. When I got home I went to the bathroom and I had what I thought was a lot of blood and stuff....I freaked and called him...he said as long as it wasn't running down my leg it was from the exam and it would probably stop - and it did bummer. If it continues on though it could be the start of something! I'm sorry that your bummed but in not too long you'll have that baby boy in your arms and wish you could remember what it felt like to be preggo!
