What really pulled at my heart strings is he was giving his baby "side."

"Side" is what we call nursing and even though he hasn't nursed in a little over 2 years he will still ask for "side." Now of course all he means is wanting to be held close in the cradle position with his head on my chest and me humming or singing to him.
