Hoping to go to 6-9 months but I'll still give pumped breast milk, after my EBF days are over, until she's 12 months

Ideally I would like to breastfeed until she is one but for right now I'm just aiming for my "step" goals - 3 months, 6 months, 9 months.

My first small goal was 6 months and I made it! My next goal is 12 months. I do want to go until he is ready to self wean. I'm hoping to at least make it to 2 yrs old. I'm proud that I have been able to keep up with his demands so far since I work & pump.

I would love to go 9 months, maybe even 12, but mainly pumping since I have to go back to work. Based on my supply, I'm not sure if it will work out to be that long.

I will continue nursing him when we're together until he seems ready to quit. I plan on stopping pumping when Ben turns 1...I can't WAIT to get rid of my stupid pump!!!!! Love breastfeeding, HATE PUMPING!

i'm not prego buuuuuuut id like to EBF for as long as I can. I guess I dont really have any expectations. My SIL wanted to BF, but her milk just never came in. So I guess u never know what can happen. I guess my roughest estimate would be 6 mos - 2 yrs? or whenever mini me feels like giving up the boob!

Bre - do you do formula for Reid whilst you work? My goal is to do both, so DH can help out. I feel he has missed the special "feeding" bond that Kirsty & I have. He's never fed her as she refuses the bottle.
How do you girls cope with BFing when baby gets teeth? Does your baby bite you at all?
