The night after Kieran was born Ken was coming back to the hospital for the night and ran into a friend of mine. Her son was born at the end of January and had just been admited that night (April 9th) for RSV.

Now my question is, I'm having a baby shower this coming weekend (May 2nd) for another friend and friend #1 is coming and most likely brining her son with her. I'm worried with Kierans cold and her weight issues about friend #1 bringing her baby as is dh, I'm not sure if he could still get her sick 3½ weeks later or not (think he got out of the hospital on the 11th of April), and I'm wondering if he can, or if I should tell her not to bring him?

almost 4 weeks later---yeah your safe then. The most contagious time is right before they KNOW they have it and during treatment. But check with your Doctor and even have her ask her's (but I would think she WOULDn'T bring out a contagious kid!).

O/T b/c I don't even know what RSV is... but I just wanted to comment again b/c everytime I see your sig Justine my heart just melts. Seamus is so dang adorable words can't even express how cute he is... and Kieran looks just like him when he was a baby. She is going to be a KNOCK out and like him, just get more and more gorgeous with every passing day. Those eyes are just killer.
