Baby Poop

Two things..

1. Oliver's poop smells like buttery popcorn to me.

DH doesn't like me saying this because popcorn is his favorite thing to make for a snack.

2. My baby's poop doesn't smell half as bad as other baby's poop. When we went to the Children's Museum I could smell another baby's poopy diaper and it smelled awful to me. I told my Mom that Oliver's has never smelled that bad. She said it's because it's my baby's poop. It use to never smell at all but the older he gets the stronger it gets. His urine smells sooo much stronger now too.

Buttery popcorn! lol I hope my one-day-baby's poo smells like buttery popcorn!

That is something you gotta tell the first girl he brings home!

Both boys poop smelled like soft pretzels when they were little.

Breastmilk poop doesn't smell bad anyway. Of course the adding of solid foods took that away and now doesn't smell quite so nice.

I can see how you associate it with buttery popcorn....Reid's was kind of similar when he was just BF (no solids or formula). Infant poop didn't stink to me AT ALL. Maybe because it was BM poo.

However, now that he has formula from time to time, and solids a couple times a day, they smell pretty bad

It really doesn't bother me at all though. It's more of a "hey, my baby needs a diaper change" than "ew"

I totally know what you're talking about with the "my kid's poop doesn't smell as bad as your kids!" I always thought that about Emma compared with my niece and nephew!

Yeah now that he eats solids also it like big boy poop---its changes to the waste of the food he eats. popcorn huh---thats funny!

haha funny!!! I think the same and my babys poop doesnt smell bad!!! I say cuz my BM is so sweet

ok this is just a wrong topic in so many ways LOL!!! My kids never had raunchy smelling poo till they were put on milk in a sippy cup - its just raunchy LOL

Oh gosh I LOVE LOVE LOVE buttery popcorn and Curtis' smelled EXACTLY like it. It messed with my mind I tell ya!!! Dustin's does as well but not as exact. But oh how I love BM poops more then solids. YUCKY! When I went from changing all Dustin's diapers back to Curtis' (Hubby did them all while he was home from work) I about puked!!!! I guess his poop smell like grew on me?? I dunno but going back to it it was NASTY haha. I'm back to kinda used to it but I'd rather do Dustin's then Curtis' yuck.

I even googled buttery popcorn BM poops hahaha
