Hi everyone!! My my it has been such a long time! Thanks Resi for the Myspace message! I have been meaning to get back on here but it just never seems to happen! I just needed a good kick in the butt! Well Gavin is doing wonderful- he has been getting SOOOO big and is now crawling and pulling himself up on everything and cruising... he will be walking before you know it! He is eating us out of house and home already, he pretty much eats any table food! He is such a happy baby still... he really is getting into everything though! He certainly wears me out! As for me, I am working long days now because my co-worker is taking her maternity leave, so I will be working from 8-5:30 at the daycare that he goes to... and he is now IN my room! It is going pretty well, but there are some times when I can really use a break! Especially now that he has 9 1/2 hr days... he is BEAT by the end of the day and so am I! That is why I am so out of it when I get home and really don't get much time to get on here! Luckilly my mom and sister are going to start picking him up earlier at daycare! Plus I really am not thrilled over this new set-up... it kinda confuses me! I don't know that I like this new layout at all! Anyways I am still taking things day by day but we have been so busy and he has been keeping us on our toes. We planned a vacation to Disney World in the end of September... but we are NOT taking our kid!! LOL I know that sounds soooo horrible.... but Disney is like my second home, I used to go all the time with my best friend, and Sean and I need a vacation and no one else coming with us will have kids, so we are going to leave Gavin with my sister-in-law for 6 days!! That will be very hard but thinking things through it will really be for the best. Thinking of all the stuff we would have to bring, how much we would have to stop for him, and how cranky he would be out in the heat all day... and he wouldn't even remember any of it, just doesn't seem worth it to us. And we both are really going to need a vacation by the end of the summer and we got an AMAZING deal so we just went for it! Also, we are very busy planning for his 1st birthday party!! We are renting a pavillion at a local park... and we will be doing the food and everything else ourselves to cut down on cost. There will probably be close to 50-80 people there though so it will be huge! I am going with the "rockstar" theme for him too which I thought would be cute! Also, my dad is going a little crazy... he wanted to "rent" him a moonbounce (who knows why the kid is only turning 1 and probably won't even know what it is!) and when we found out how much it costs to rent one, my dad said well let's just buy one! So I picked out a small little 6x6 one appropriate for his age and my dad didn't think it was good enough... so he bought him this pirate WATERPARK one!! OMG It is soooooo amazing and the weight limit is 250lbs so adults can even go on! So this will be the main attraction at his birthday party at the park! LOL Anyways I am sooooo beat today but I really wanted to get on here and give everyone an update.... I really hope to be able to update more often- I miss you guys! Also, I entered Gavin in a Battle of the Babies contest from our local radio station... the winner wins $5,000!! So when I have the info I'll let everyone know and maybe you guys can help me vote for him!! Well take care everyone and congrats to all with the recent little ones... your babies are all so cute and are growing up so quickly!!
