I do video reviews to earn extra money each month. Well, this month there is a $1000 drawing. Whoever has the top 20 videos with the most views is entered into the drawing, so I'd have a 5% chance of winning if I can just get enough ppl to watch it. It has to play all the way thru for it to count. I don't care if you actually watch it or not, but maybe you could just hit the play button right when you're walking away from your computer or something?
It's the last day of the month and I'm in 20th position and fighting to stay there!
Thanks, ladies!

It's playing! I can't watch it though. I'm watching Curtis like a HAWK cause we're doing some potty training and he's got no diapers on! hahaha. I'll watch it again later cause I want to see you hahaha.

I've found personally that if I watch it over and over again (tried it!), it doesn't count. BUT, if I close out the screen, wait an hour or so, then watch a different review, THEN re-watch it, it counts. That's kinda complex for you ladies to do though, so I'd never ask you to do that!
I have a ton of different videos though if you wanna watch them (just for fun of course, they won't count in the contest ) Here's my homepage: Buying Expert cgardner75 Profile | ExpoTV
Oh, and yes, that's Alyssa jumping in the background.

Here's a link to sign up if you're interested. The promotions vary from month-to-month. There have been months where you can do up to 20 videos for $5 each (each one has to be at least 1 minute long). There have been promos where you can get $10 per video for certain products (in the past it's been gain detergent & herbal essences shampoo). This month, they're only offering payment for your first video, BUT you get $25 for it and entered into the contest for the $1000. While this month was easiest (earned $25 for 5 minutes of work), I prefer having the option of doing more videos. I've begun to count on at least an extra $100 a month from them.
If you sign up under me, I get a one-time referral bonus of $5 when you submit your first video:

They will send you a W9 form to fill out if they pay you more than $600 in any calendar year. You don't have to provide any tax info if you make less than that. I've earned $442 from them so far this year so I haven't had to fill it out yet...

Watched & thoroughly enjoyed it! I started laughing when I noticed Alyssa hopping around in the background! haha
So, buying expert... question for you. I HAVE this can opener... two of them actually. Here's the deal.
When Ben and I first moved in together several years ago and were at wal-mart getting stuff I went to grab an electric can opener. He's all... what are you doing? and grabbed like the $1 regular can opener. Well my whole life we had used electric (as far as I can remember) and I thought that the 'regular' ones were... you know, in case of emergency. Like, there's no power and you have to live off canned goods. haha. I'm such an idiot. So anyway for our registry I registered for this can opener. Got it at my bridal shower -- told the same story I just told you except I called it the 'ghetto can opener' and 3 people took it personally and later complained to my mom about it. I was just talking like an idiot. We just got another gift yesterday and its the same can opener, so now I have two. And now I feel bad about it because of insulting people who use regular can openers. ugh!
Should I take them both back? It looked like it worked pretty well when you used it & I like the looks of it -- it matches the stainless stuff in our kitchen.
Oh and I'll totally go back and re-watch again later for you. Keep us updated on what happens!

Those $1 handheld can openers suck butt. Our wedding electric can opener broke at the beginning of the year, so we tried to use our emergency manual one and it was crappy. It hurt my hand, it took forever, and for some weird reason, I got chills up my spine every time I used it to the point where I had to have dh open all the cans. (yes, he thought I was crazy, but I swear it was like nails on a chalkboard for me). So yeah, I think manual ones are a waste of $1. Definitely keep one for power outages, but I refuse to use one as my main can opener. This one is not nearly as nice as our wedding one. Our wedding one cut really cleanly so the kids could use it and I didn't have to worry about them cutting themselves. But hey, this one only cost like $15, so whatever, you get what you pay for and it definitely works without any problems.
