I can't believe that Mother's Day is next Sunday!

While I know our moms don't expect much from us right now, I don't want the special day to go by without recognizing them. They were both present at the delivery and I don't think I would have done as well without them. I want them to know how much I truly appreciate them. Also, it's MIL's first Mother's Day as a grandma.

Unfortunately I don't have much time! Maybe if I knew what I wanted to buy/make, I could run out fast just for that.

And can I say OMG to all us first time mommies that are celebrated this year!!

Some idea here, for DH's first fathers day I made hand and foot prints from Seamus and put a picture with it and framed it.

Congrats to all the first time mommies on your first mothers day

I don't do things for grandmas on mother's day----they have grandparents day in Sept! So I do their stuff then. (then they get a couple special days!)

We usually just do flowers and a card for our Moms--kinda boring but I don't have the energy to be creative anymore. LOL

Congrats to all first time Mother's Day celebrators!!! This will be my fourth!

We are thinking of getting keychain digital photo "albums" for both of our Moms and will spend the week scouring for pics. It will be MUCH easier for me because I have 2 siblings and a niece and 2 nephews. For Mike though, it will be a little difficult.

*If you like this idea, Target has a frame thing for $10 this week*

I want to do something reallllly special for MIL since she is STILL in the nursing home but I haven't figured out what to do yet. I don't want it to involve food because her diabetes is still not under control. Anyone have any ideas?

And what I reallllllly wanna do is fly down to NC and spend my friend's [{Amy}} 25th birthday with her since she is without family, her dh is deployed, and we haven't spent time together in 2 years. If I can use my "free" flight to do it, I absolutely will.
