I list baby items on craigslist and then when I get interest I get all sad about selling the items. I listed the pack n play and have two people interested. We have never really used it so I think I should just get rid of it. Ugh.. I get so down about it. I think it's because he is only 7 months old and already not needing a lot of the baby gear. What do you think? Should I just get rid of it? Even IF (big if) we do have another baby in the future we don't really need it.

Ya we used it for Curtis to sleep in during camping and staying at my mil. I also used it at home when he started standing and scooting around. It was nice just incase I needed something done and for him to be contained.

I get sad too when I get rid of things, but especially when I go through his clothes and pick out the stuff that doesn't fit anymore.

Regarding the PnP.....I don't know....I don't use mine all that much, but sometimes I will set him in there with a ton of his toys, and he will just play for like 20 mins, and I know he's safe and won't roll away, fall, etc. I also need to take it with me when we stay overnight at my dad's house next month, so it will come in handy then.

Id keep it - Morgan uses it daily and she's 2.5 for naps in my room (away from her brother) And we use both of them (before the rainforest one was recalled) for camping, and when their at my parents house! Its small, compact and believe me, you will go somewhere and go "ohh I wish I had that pac n play!!"

We never used ours the first 6 months and now she sleeps in It next to our bed. Im sure it would be good to take on trips or use at someones house if he needs nap. But they do make smaller PnP that you can always get If you need one...

I wouldn't get rid of it just yet. You may need it when he really starts moving around just to contain him so you can get something done quickly.

We have 2: one that Amara uses with the bassi to sleep in (for now) and the Graco Bug one with all the activities attached to it. The Bug one is at my ILs and she will use that when she stays there and I plan to hold on to the one she's sleeping in for a bit. Ours comes in handy if we have people over and we're in the yard. Sometimes Amara just wants to lay down and play so we take it out and put her in it where she can be amongst us to play. It's great because we have the netting we can put over it to keep the bugs away.

ditto Bre, I get sad when Kirsty outgrows clothes cos it's like my baby is growing up to quickly.I guess it's individual choice, if you don't think you;ll use the P&P then get rid and use the money towards something you will use.

It depends how much you stay over at other houses? I bought one to leave at my parents, but that's cos they live 3 hours from me and I got up one weekend every month. My P&P is HUGE, i mean it takes the matress for a cotbed, so it's bigger than a typical cot! But then it'll do Kirsty for a few years as we visit my parents. You could get a smaller one if you need one in the future?

I brought it to my grandfather's house and I didn't really need to use it. My SIL has one so I don't need to haul it there. To be honest I don't see us staying any where and if we do he would sleep with me in bed like at home. It's been taking up space in our house. I put him in there once in awhile to use the bathroom or something but not that often. I can't see me putting him in it to play when he is older. I don't care for playpins.... makes me feel like I'm putting him in prison or something. lol..

Based on what you're saying, you should sell it and use to money for something else.

I don't believe in confining children either but I like the idea of having it just in case I need to go and do something quickly (like attend to the stove, take a shower, etc) when Amara becomes mobile. I wouldn't put her in it if I'm not doing anything and I can keep and eye on her.
