My DR said around cd 12 start having sex ever other day. He said that DH sperm count will be to low if we do it everyday. I just have a hard time skipping a day when it could be O day!!!! What do you all do???? We DTD on CD 12, 14, 15, 16. I had a positive OPK on CD's 14-15 so I am assuming I will O on today CD16. I think, what do you think, how long after an OPK do you normally O!! I go for bloodwork on Saturday or monday to confirm ovulation!!!! Oh ya, should we DTD tomorow??

We do every other because of Mike's decreased sperm counts!

sperm can live up to 5 days in fertile CM/VJ so even if you didnt dtd on O day, your chances are still very high. we got kirsty with one single BD 2 days befrore O. so i'd take the docs advice

I agree every other day, we did this the whole cycle we fell pregnant with Chloe from the day after AF left til the night before I took a test!!!

Sperm can live girl!! I DTD 27th and 28th of November then on the 2nd of December. Oed the 4th, and BOOM my leggo was preggo!! Good luck sweetie, I hope to hear news of your BFP in the coming weeks.

It all depends on his sperm. I would listen to your doc if he has had a SA.

My NP recommended every other day, CD 10-20. That was at my last pap when I mentioned we were thinking of TTC. We arent aware of any fertility problems and DH has never had an SA. That was just the advice she gives to everyone.

DH's friend is an OB/GYN. He told him its best to abstain for a week or so then DTD every 36 hrs a few days prior to O time.

I've been told every other day! We dtd ONCE on the 14th...I o'd the 18th and BAM I was pregnant.

Every other for the SA issue. We did pretty much every day of the month but the days AF were in town LOL

Everyday with normal sperm count and every other for low. I'd listen to your doc though. I'm thinking about trying every other day if this cycle doesn't work out.

I'd follow your doc's advice too, and DTD every other day. And sperm can live, my last baby was conceived with DTD 4 whole days before O! This time I was measuring showing my ovulation day to be friday, 1 day after DTD AND he pulled out. I thought I ovulated saturday, which means we would have DTD on O day. I think the highest chance of pregnancy is from DTD 1-2 days before ovulation.

My doctor told us every-other-day as well... Of course, being the neurotic person I am, we still DTD every freakin' day for like a week straight! I just couldn't not DTD when I thought I could be O'ing.
