So I sleep with a fan on at night, not every night, but the past 3 nights and Ive had a consistent 97.3-4 every morning. Is this ok? I sleep with a down comforter as well (I know its contradicting the purpose of the fan but I HAVE to sleep covered)

I usually get up about 8-8-30ish - can I temp earlier than this and go back to sleep? I go to bed somewhere around 11:30-12 and was thinking about temping when hubby gets up at 5am, that way I remember to do it every morning. Or should I just stick with a 7:30 wake up alarm and do it then?

3rd - I promise - when I try to find my cervix, it always feels the same to me! Firm and closed. When the cervix does open, does it only open a few CM if that?! I was thinking I could tell if it was open, but now Im not so sure - what does an open cervix feel like?

Ok I swear Im done

~Beth

OHH and should I start taking a prenatal? just to get my body back into things?!

Im no help for the other two questions but for the middle one..I had my alarm set for 7am and then Id temp and go right back to sleep. You dont have to temp when you get up you can do it earlier. But I wouldnt switch your temp time until a new cycle! Hope that helps!

You should take your prenatal starting now That's great for your body.

I don't know anything about temping. Sorry I can't help you there!

I am not Fiona, but I temped for like 3 years so I can share my experience.

Fans, blankets, open doors, change in weather--none of those things short of a fever or temping at an irregular time should affect your temp significantly. Trust me, it just doesn't matter how much you may sometimes want to explain why you haven't O'ed on your temp being off from a fan or something (at least, I would sometimes try to blame the fan back in the day!). The human body is just that smart

Yes do start taking prenatals since taking them both before you get pregnant and in the first tri are the most important times to get that folic acid.

Go ahead and temp early and then go back to bed. Just make sure you are temping at the same time every morning amd getting enough sleep beforehand.

Cervix--no idea. I never did that.

cervix... mine always felt the same too. only a few times I felt it open and it was like a little indent my finger could sit in. Honestly, I'd concentrate on observing your CM instead.

everything else has been answered, but for the cervix, when mine opens, it goes from feeling like a little slit to being an indent, basically. totally TMI, but thats not unusual for this board, lmao.
