So here's the deal. The first time I POAS was on my last internet cheapie. It had a faint line so I sent DH to the store where he picked up a 3 pk of FRER. I POAS that night and then again the next night (Tues) ... I'm trying to save the last one for Sunday to get two really good lines and also for part of the plan on telling my mom for Mother's day. But I really wanna POAS and see lines getting darker!

So after work I stopped at the dollar store and bought 3 tests. They're the well kind, where you pee in a cup and use the dropper. So I do, and there is BARELY a line. Now, I know I'm still early but I feel pregnant. It still freaks me out though. I didn't even think it would show up in a picture.

I didn't want to "waste" my last FRER b/c they're expensive and I know we can't/shouldn't buy more after this. But I figured if it would calm my nerves I should... so I dipped it in the same cup the dollar store test was dipped in. The line came up super fast and is darker than the other two FRERs, so it was worth it, I guess.

Anyway, I took pictures so you guys can see how barely there the dollar store test is compared to the FRER. The pics I took actually did a pretty good job capturing how it looks IRL.

Yay for daker line on the FRER!!! That's why FRER's are the only ones I will buy. Do you still have your leaflet from the inside of the FRER box? There will probably be a dollar off coupon on it--there's one on mine from the last time I POAS so I saved it! Also, I found Target has those tests the cheapest.

I'm sorry it gave you a scare! But I had to laugh just a bit because they DO SUCK!! After I got my BFP at 11dpo on a FRER, I also dipped an IC....it was SUPER faint, there, but looked like an evap almost. I also used a Dollar Store test. Nothing! Maaaaybe a hint of a line, but I would call it a BFN. They are junk!

By the way, the FRER looks AWESOME!

I only pee on FRERs. Digitals are boring, and dollar tests do suck. The IC's can be fun only b/c you can take like a million and not feel guilty at all. I think I got a 3 pack of FRER at Target for $9 or maybe $12. Go get some more and start peeing! Muhahahahaha!

Last time I got one (a couple months ago) I only had ten bucks on me so I couldn't get the 3 pack. The two pack was around $8 and I had a dollar off coupon. I think the 3 pack was around $12-$13.

LOL! How true that is...I have already sent Dh to the store for so many random things and this is just the beginning.

I agree with the others, dollar store tests suck. What matters is that your FRERs look great and are getting darker!

Walmart has some that are cheep and good ($4/ea)

I've only had one issue with the $ store ones(right after my IUD came out), remember mine at around 5weeks was super super dark.

I agree that the dollar store tests stink. I never got one but I got the internet cheapies. Those were no good either!!

2 pack of FRER are $8.99 at my target & last I checked, the FRER website had a $2 off coupie to print, that's only $6.99 for a 2-pk.

I never had a problem with the dollar store tests. As a matter of fact that is all I used this pregnancy (well 1 digital because I had to see the word). Glad that your FRER's are getting darker!
