I have a little problem with depression and thinking everyone has a better life than I do. It happens a few times a year - and its been hitting this week.

I jealous of everyone and I know I shouldn't be. I feel really bad about it.

I love my kids, but I swear to god I need a break. I need my husband to stop kissing his works butt. I need a few moments to myself, in my own home, without having to drive anywhere. I love the barn, its a great escape, but its not really relaxing when you have 10+ stalls, 23 horses to feed and bring in on top of working my own horse. I need to keep working so I dont have to spend $300 out of hubbys paycheck to keep the horse.

I just want to sleep, veg out and check out for a while....is it too much to ask?

(and yes we are still TTC, that plan hasent changed)

I think everyone feels that way every once in awhile. And it's totally normal to need a break! Especially when you have so much on your plate. Is there any reasonable way that you could arrange to get a few hours to yourself...maybe ask family to help? You could take a nice relaxing bubble bath, read a book, have a glass of wine...

I would totally do it for you if I lived closer *HUGS*

thanks guys for the support. I do have family that can help out but only on the weekends. Hubby doesnt drive and doesnt feel comfortable taking the kids out on his own without me. He will whine and moan when I ask him to take them on a walk. It just makes me so mad, I can do whatever I want with kids, yet he has to be a stick in the mud.....

That sucks! Do you think that talking to him and letting him know that you NEED more help from him would get you any results?

It sounds to me like next weekend should be YOUR weekend (I would say this weekend, but it's already here...)

I totally know how you feel...Nic is working like 14 hour days and I'm home alone with a 2.5 month old and a dog thats a pain in the butt all day every day and the words "I just need a break" leave my mouth at least 4 times a day Hang in there! I hope it gets easier.
