I went to church, DH made shrimp pasta w/ alfredo sauce while I was away, we visited the ILs in the evening and took over the stuff Amara will use when she's there.

How about this for uneventful. A few days before Mothers Day Nic goes "I don't think this counts yet because Conner isn't old enough to pick out a card" I was like WOW, Ok honey how about you get up with him at night and take care of him all day alone while I'm gone...and could you also do my laundry, my dishes, clean my house, and take care of my dog at the same time? I'd appreciate that, thanks. I think he got the point

He did cook me dinner and clean up the kitchen afterwards which was nice. Oh and he bought me a new Twilight edition because my cousin stole my other one

pretty uneventful - I had to go to church with my mom, of course hubby "had to work, sorry babe" which is his answer to everything. I was exhausted after I got home and then had to go out and do barn chores which I got another "uhhhhg FINE IF I HAVE TO" while he was getting ready, I kissed the kids and left and got a great phone call once he figured out I left. grrrr...

Happy mothers day morgy

We had Alexa's 40 day blessing at church, then brunch with my parents... It was a nice day outside too. Here is a pic from church.

And DH left to go to a poker game at 7 pm so me and my girl were on our own for the evening. It was nice though

EXACTLY! He didn't have to work on Sunday, but I was still the one who took care of the baby all night long. He made me waffles which I appreciated. But then I was the one cleaning bottles, doing laundry, washing dishes, etc. It would have been nice if he offered to rub my back or something

Damon did get me a card from Oliver and a Willow Tree Figurine that I told him I wanted a couple months ago. It's of a mother holding her young child. If I didn't give him a hint I would not have gotten anything.

I was/am sick with the flu so it wasn't exactly fabulous lol. We went out to breakfast cause I thought it was just a simple cold at that point. Later we went to the in laws for a bbq where I spent every moment watching the clock just aching to get out of there, I can't stand going there anymore it's practically painful!

After that I put Ivy to bed and cleaned the house. Oh but Saturday DH surprised me by ordering me a Canon 580 ex II flash that I have been drooling over. So can't be too irritated lol.

Ivy has been waking up at least three times a night the last two weeks, I am the definition of a zombie between that and the flu lol!

I got cards from Dh, my mom, my MIL, so that was really nice. Dh made my meals but I'm spoiled b/c he does that every day when he is home. That's the tradeoff though because I generally let him sleep at night and take care of Matthew. A gift would have been nice but things are so crazy around here it's no biggie.

It's nice when they do the cooking, isn't it? Damon started taking over making dinner when I was pregnant. He has kept it up ever since. It's nice because if I'm hope I take care of Oliver. I cook maybe once per week.
