In preparation for me going back to work next Monday, Amara will be by my MIL from Monday - Wednesday for the entire day. I miss her so terribly!! Gosh, I know it has to be done but it SUCKS! I know she will miss me too because she's been getting attached. I plan to visit around lunch each day for a couple weeks.

I know it's rough but it will get a little better with time. It's an adjustment for sure. Big hugs.

Yes, I'm glad for that. My parents and my ILs are retired so we always had someone to care for her. My mom has looked after all her grandkids with the exception of Amara because she is DH's parents' first grandchild. If my ILs can't want over her for whatever reason, trip or anything, then my parents will. Also, my mom is "on call" if MIL needs any assistance.

I'm going to pick up my baby now!! I hope I can control myself. I just feel like to give her a long, big squeeze!!! I hope she's not mad at me for leaving her.

Aww Mari I know its hard....I've been there done that. It does get easier. And you'll see she'll thrive despite you not being there all day long. It's nice you have family to watch her...the relationship she'll develop with her grandparents will be nice too. My son still loves me more and more each day even though I have to take him to "school" everyday. They just adjust to what life is for them! Good luck sweetie!

I know it's hard, but she is in good hands, and it will get a bit easier with time.

Thanks ladies for the words of encouragement! She had a good day yesterday and she was so happy to see me. I'm glad I decided to start taking her a week before I go back to work.
