I found this site that has a lot of great information on the skin care products we use for our babies. It really helped me pick which soaps, lotions, etc. to use on my baby that aren't full of chemicals and other gunk.

I've been using that site for several years! At first I used it for finding safe products for myself. Then I used it for finding safe products for Oliver. We use Earth Mama, Angel Baby and LOVE all of their products. They are 100% safe, non-toxic, and organic.

I really have to weigh cost into my decisions too, so for the most part we're sticking with a lot of items rated at a 1 instead of a 0... Lots of California Baby products and I was happy to see the Lightly Scented Aveeno Shampoo and Body Wash is low because it's sooooooooo much cheaper! I was also stoked to see Seventh Generation baby wipes rated low because I can buy a 12-pack of refills on Amazon.com for a great price (and with free shipping!)

Most of the items rated at a 0 are just way too expensive for us to afford on a regular basis...

It is amazing how I never gave stuff like this another thought until I got pregnant. But I don't want anything touching my baby that could do harm, even if the risk is really low...

Great site! The only problem I have, is that I looked up the lotion I have here at my desk and the site doesnt have all the correct ingredients! I made sure I was looking at the right information for the right product and the name of the product matches word for word. So I would say just double check everything including matching the ingredients on the bottle to the ingredients this site has listed!

I've been using it for a bit too, for myself and for Amara.
