haha I don't want to be starting a billion posts in here and start getting on everyone's nerves!

Nothing is really new. I'm really tired but can't sleep. I normally sleep like a ROCK and now I'm just tossing and turning and exhausted... DH is saying I'm like whining/grumbling in the middle of the night even when I am asleep.

I've been reading "Your pregnancy, week by week" "What to Expect when You're Expecting" and "Your pregnancy - questions and answers" (3 of the books Resi sent me) all simultaneously. Trying to do research on cloth diapers when I'm online.

My parents are still the only people IRL who know. Hoping to hold out until 12 weeks, but I'm thinking that's probably not going to be possible, especially with the amount of time we spend at the pool and the fact that I've cut out 100% of caffeine (over a week now!) and I'm typically a big diet coke drinker.

Haven't made my first doctors appointment yet b/c my insurance is changing at work. Tomorrow I am going to call to do the official switch.

I took a 4wk belly shot but I haven't posted it anywhere b/c I'm waiting til there's noticable bump before doing an actual thread. I haven't gained any weight and obviously wouldn't have a bump yet but I feel/look fat. I guess it's just bloat? Who knows. I feel like wayyyy south in the very middle it's firmer like I'm feeling my uterus. Is that right?

Ben won't discuss names since we've had our girl name picked out and he's convinced it's a girl.

Whatever.

Hmm is that everything? Think so.

Oh... forgot. Here's the 'before' pic... 4 wks. I look like crap. I hated the pic when we took it and now I wish we had re-done it. haha oh well.

You already should know that we won't get sick of all your posts! I think you look really pretty in that picture and your stomach looks really flat. The bloat is the first thing to appear and make clothes feel tight.

Has cutting out the caffeine been difficult? It doesn't help with the fact that you're tired to begin with!

It hasn't been as horrible as I thought it would be. I'm pretty much drinking only water. I have some caffeine free diet dr. pepper (caf. free diet coke is GROSS) in the fridge and I allow myself no more than 1 of those a day b/c they still aren't GOOD for me. I just miss being able to grab a really cold drink with flavor and going, ya know? And like... going out to grab a cup of coffee or a diet coke or something with friends... it's just like " ugh i'll have a water, thanks." and then try to come up with some excuse for it since ppl don't know. haha. I've been really tired... but I think it's a combo of no caffeine and the fact that I'm just not sleeping well anyway- tossing and turning all night, etc. DH is still drinking a ton of diet coke and I keep looking at it all envious.

But now that it's been... 10 days that I haven't had any... it's easier b/c I don't want to 'break my streak'

Hate hate hate to tell you this, but caffeine is better for you than aspartame when you're preggers. Try to avoid diet anything...

I love hearing all about your pregnancy

You look really cute in your preggo pic, and bloating was my enemy from my BFP until about 20 weeks. Remember how I apparently had a "pooch". STILL sensitive about that!
