What's up with this? I have been cramping the last couple days, especially today. Is it just Jack getting bigger and messing with me, or am I gonna blow!? Been there done thats what's your experience with cramps around 36 weeks?

"gonna blow"!!!

I think it's normal to be randomly crampy this far along. Is it hot, have you been out in the heat? I used to cramp a lot after being in the heat or on my feet for more than a few mins.

My butt has been parked on a chair inside an air conditioned building all day! I hope he is still head down. When I try to feel him, I can't make sense of what's going on in there at all.

Hmm. I can't really remember if that used to happen to me at 36 weeks. I'm pretty sure I was closer to 38-40 weeks when I got crampy. I know that I would get really crampy after internals at the OB. Out of curiosity, when will you start those? I think I was 37 weeks.

I was cramping off and on with Kieran the last few weeks, but saddly it did nothing for me (wouldnt' have mattered anyway unless she would have flipped)

Could be getting ready to have him any time soon though.

Since it is a midwifery center, they won't do internals usually. But I get strep B test next week and I want to see if I am dilated so I will ask for an internal.

I am getting a little bit more excited

I'm having cramps as I did with DS at this stage.....with me its a combo of gassiness from being preggo and from the diet I'm on....all the high protein stuff and low carb gestational diabetes diet makes me crampy. Where are your cramps at?

Maybe you should lie down....I don't want you "to blow"

Gosh.. It's already so hard for me to remember how every went while I was pregnant. I *think* I remember getting crampy towards the end. I don't remember what week I was in when the started up.

With Curtis I sure did. I was crampy and achy. Everything seemed to be "acting" up! haha. Dustin I didn't feel A THING. I did not feel at all that I was going to have him soon. I was just all of a sudden so tired and no desire to go any where, thank goodness or else I would have had my water break in the States as that is where I was going to go! Lol.

But yes anyways... I was crampy.

It occured to me that maybe I was dehydrated, so I rested and drank a bunch of water and the cramps went away. I think it is weird I still only feel what I think are uterine cramps in my old uterus location even though it is now much bigger and spans across my abdomen.

Glad to hear your cramps went away....I learned today how much water can really affect the ole uterus....I was having alot of contractions on the NST today and they had my guzzle a bottle of water and they slowed down a bit....enough for the doc to relax a bit. It does make a difference to stay hydrated!

Now don't blow!
