I ovulated!!! ON CYCLE DAY 17!!!!!!!!!

I really can't believe the soy worked! I'm so incredibly excited!!!!

I haven't ovulated this early since before I got pregnant with Liam and even then it was a crap shoot (anywhere from CD14-CD35). I feel really good about our BD timing too and am extremely optimistic that we did it this month!!!!

I don't know if you all remember but I posted a bit ago about taking last cycle off because of my sister's wedding. I thought the timing would have been too close and I'm the MOH. Well, if we did actually do it this month my due date would actually be her wedding day! Talk about cutting it close!

I jumped the gun--no ovulation yet. *sigh*

EWCM picked up again this morning and I found my thermometer last night (waaayyyyy under the bed) and temped this morning and still very low.

It should be soon though because my O pains are kicking in right now too.

I actually have been having a dream for the past month or so that I was due February 11th and had a baby girl on January 27th. Feb 11 EDD would put me to O on Monday which is entirely in the realm of possibility. So I guess we just keep BDing. At least I'm not out!

This was my first cycle on soy. Any O before CD25 is a success in my book so we'll see when it actually comes.

I was doing a lot of research on natural ways to ovulate earlier and came across a lot of research on soy isoflavones. It's billed as "nature's clomid" and helps increase EWCM. It also helps support the LP which I need too. This month I took 115mg CD 3-7. If it doesn't work then I might take 138mg next month (my pills are 23mg soy isoflavones). I'm still feeling very optimistic about this month though!

Interesting! I'm going to have to look that up! I've missed it for this cycle, but I might try it next cycle. This go around I'm using Mucinex, which seems to help CM, though I might be imagining things.
