Hey ladies - I have already left a message with the triage nurse (which is excrutiating waiting for a call back at this point) but I just went to the bathroom and when I wiped I'm having some bleeding/spotting...not alot at all - none on my undies but definintely some light pink on the TP. I had alot of BH's yesterday like one every half hour but nothing painful and then by the evening they had pretty much stopped.....I have been feeling Nora move around alot both last night and today so far so I'm not sure what's going on. I hope she's not trying to make an escape....ahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Should I keep waiting for a call from the nurse or maybe head over to the hospital?????

I think I would wait until the nurse calls back. Unless it gets worse. I hope it's nothing.

I would wait for a call back but until that happens put your feet up and REST! Keep yourself hydrated!

I had a lot of spotting (enough to wear a pad) when I was 20 weeks pregnant with Liam. It lasted a few days and then nothing. My doctor couldn't determine what was causing it either. Consensus was I was over exerting myself.

Now little Nora--you need to stay put for a while longer!!!

I hope its just loss of the plug....since I'm already resting quite a bit I can't imagine what it could be, definitely no nukie or anything!....just the start of normal labor maybe? The nurse called back and I'm going over to the office at 12:45. So I'll updated when I get back and let you all know what they say!

Okay - I'm finally home and I'm in the bed for the weekend. My doc thinks that the bleeding is from a cervical/vaginal infection - just a run of the mill preggo bacterial infection I guess....she said it didn't appear to be coming from my uterus or anything like that and my cervix is closed - yipee!

They did an NST and the baby looked really good however I was having alot of contractions....so they had me drink a whole bottle of water and the contractions slowed a bit but not enough to make my doc let me go back to work - so she put me on bed rest for the weekend and I have an appt and NST on Monday and they'll re-evaluate the bed rest thing....HMPHHHHH

At least no baby is coming out of my who-who yet....so that's good!

Glad baby girl is staying put. My thoughts were it could be a bit of you losing your plug- that happened to me... and it regenerates... so it doesn't mean labr s starting!

Rest up and stay hydrated ;D

Thanks ladies! So bedrest sucks...and its messing up my little man big time...DS is getting shaken by the whole thing I think....last night he cried very hard about going to bed in his own bed and he has NEVER done that....he wanted to sleep in my bed with me.....it was breaking my heart. Finally daddy got him to bed in his own bed. DH had to take off work last night and tonight but my parents get home tomorrow morning and they are going to pick up Harrison and keep him over night on Sunday night so DH can go to work....so I guess we're working it all out. I hope that I can get back to my normal routine but I guess if this is the way it needs to be this is the way it needs to be so Nora can be born healthy and happy.

Aw, I can imagine how hard that must have been for you to have Harrison react like that. Liam went through that phase recently but it was short lived. He got a lot more clingy toward the end of my pregnancy with Loch too. I think it's completely normal but heartbreaking none the less. I think Harrison senses how things will be changing soon and he doesn't know how to feel about that. Liam was much younger when Loch was born but he had a difficult adjustment those first few weeks. It was hard but soon enough the new baby got to be part of our routine and it was like he was always there and Liam was loving on him like I hoped he would. I hope your bedrest gets lifted on Monday and Nora bakes for a few weeks longer!
