So we're driving back up to Maine this week since Ian has a second interview () and we thought we were going to have to bring the boys this time. We were not looking forward to 8 hours in a car with them but we thought driving through the night would be our best bet. Turns out my parents were able to work their schedules around and are able to take them for a few days!!!! I'm so relieved! We'll leave Tuesday night and leave to come back Friday morning. My parents are super excited to be able to take them for a couple days so its a win-win!!! Plus, our wedding anniversary is on Wednesday so we'll be able to celebrate, um, privately if you get my drift. I'm so excited!!!
I must have missed a post about an interview? Fill me in! Enjoy your time alone.
I don't think I posted about the first interview. We've had some huge disappointments regarding potential jobs/moves and I don't like to get my hopes up so I don't say anything about them. BUT, we both are very optimistic about this. Something about this one just feels right and I really think this will work out. We've been together for 9 years (celebrating 3 years of marriage on Wednesday) and in that time we have never been without someone hovering over us. We've never had that time to just be "us" or our own family. It's long overdue and this will be an incredible opportunity for us. Something about this one just feels different. And when we were up there last time the area just felt like home. It's hard to describe but it's like my stress just melted away once we got up there. Keep your fingers crossed that this is it!!!
