Resi sent me her seabands and I'm feeling pretty nauseous right now and want to put them on but I don't know where the little plastic stud thing should go on my wrist. I tried googling it for the directions or something and nothing concrete is turning up, and the more I read about people feeling sick the worse I feel. haha
Can anybody help please?

The nubbin goes on the underside of your wrist on the same side as your palms. As near to center as possible... where the wrist tendons are running. I never wore them for ms because I never had any preggo nausea, but I have used them for motion sickness. Not quite sure if the work, but it's worth a try!

I wore them 24/7 but I was always nauseous anyway. Hopefully they'll help you!

Thanks Jessie... it felt natural to have the bump part on my underside part of my wrist but I wasn't sure if there was any more specific instructions or something.
and angela... my feeling sick means i'm having a girl or you just think so?

Haha.. sorry about not sending the directions. I thought about that a couple days ago. I think I threw them out but I'm not sure. From what I remember the button thing goes about 1 1/2" below the wrist on the inside part. I hope they help. I'm guessing girl too! Only because I never got sick with Oliver. How bad is it?

I'd like a boy first, but Ben has been insisting from day one it's a girl. He won't even entertain the idea of having a boy he's so convinced. I had my first baby dream the other night and dreamt it was a boy. I wouldn't say that I have a 'feeling' though and of course I'm okay with a girl too... but I'd rather have a boy first.
I'm not convinced today was morning sickness just because it seems awfully early for that. For the last week though (last Sunday in church wass really bad) I've been getting dizzy/clammy/sick etc. Today felt like... you know when you're drunk and have the spins? It felt like that but constant. I didn't throw up or anything but it did feel like that could have made it feel better, if it were guaranteed to go away afterward So I don't know what today was. It did get better towards the end of the night... and I've been wearing these seabands although I don't know for sure if they helped, but I'm not taking em off to find out I don't think I'm cut out for this... I'm barely pregnant and already feel like a mess.

I used the sea bands and the girls are right with where you wear them. And I had m/s and had a girl.

I'm weird. I was sicker with my boys than with Alyssa.
For where you put the nub: Relax your wrist and feel for the 2 tendons that run from your palm to your elbow. You want to place the nub right between those 2 tendons. Place 3 fingers on your wrist, and put it right below your fingers. So: 3 fingerwidths below your palm between the 2 tendons.
If you feel a wave of nausea, make sure it's placed correctly and press on it, it really does help!

I agree that your having a girl as well. I dont think it has to do with ms I think it just depends on the woman. My first pregnancy I had ZERO morning sickness, I wasnt even ever nauseous. And I had a girl, now this pregnancy OMG it horrible morning sickness!! I was gagging walking past sweets when I was 5 weeks along. Then 6 weeks I couldnt keep anything down, not even liquids! I had to go on a pill to help control it so I could hydrate! But Ive been thinking girl for you from day one!

I thought it was a boy and wanted a boy so badly, too. And of course Nolan "knew" if was a girl and he was right! Weird how father intuitions can be more right than mother ones! I can't wait to find out what you're having!!

Damon was the same way but about a boy. He did not want to talk names for a girl. Maybe Ben will be right too.

None of the m/s remedies ever do anything for me, lol. I tried it all. The best thing for me is getting to the second tri! And 5 weeks is not too early, I have been sick from 5 weeks on before, this time I wasn't sick until about 6 weeks though.

The directions you got are correct. I tried sea bands when I was pregnant with Lochy but they didn't do squat for me. Nothing worked. My morning sickness started at 3 weeks with him and got very bad--I was puking at least 3 times a day by 6 weeks and by 9 weeks I couldn't keep anything down, not even water. I had to be stuck on IV fluids at my 3 months appointment for 2 hours and started medication from there. I was able to wean off of it by 21 weeks. I also had morning sickness with Liam but not as bad--started at 6 weeks and tapered off by 15 weeks. And I only puked 2-3 times a day with him. If its worse with a girl I'm in some big trouble if I ever have one!
I have no idea what you're having but Dad's can be very right. Ian was the only one who knew Lochy was a boy, everyone else thought girl.
