Hi guys!! As you can all see, I boarded the van first, because I'm chillin' all the way in the back seat!

Depending on whether you go by LMP or O date, I'm 11w5d or 11w3d. The baby measured more along the O date in the 8th week so I tend to go by that... 11w3d even though my doctor would say 11w5d. That also makes the difference between whether I'm due in November or December but it's a moot point because I still haven't approached a DDC.

My nausea is slooooowwwlllyyyy fading. Once in a while it comes back with a vengeance though. Friday night I woke up at 3 am ready to puke my guts out, but soldiered through it, only to wake up Saturday and... puke my guts out. That was only the 3rd or 4th time I've actually vomited though. I notice that on most days, the severity of the nausea is letting up a bit. I've been chugging so much ginger ale that I'll probably never be able to drink it again after this. I can't say I've had real cravings, it's more like I get viciously hungry within a 5 minute span and then whatever it is I'm hungry for will kind of come to me.... "MUST EAT NOW... MUST BE A BEAN BURRITO" kind of thing.

I'm still extremely exhausted and wanting to sleep 12 hours a day, and will every time I have the chance. Passing out on the couch is pretty routine. I've been noticing some preggo brain going on, I forget really basic things, like appointments. I'm more clumsy and have been spilling a lot of things on myself, and dropping stuff more. However, in positive news, as of this week I've actually been pooping again (hey, you guys asked for an update, right!? LOL).

I have a bump popping out, I only have like 2 pairs of pants that are stretchy enough in the waist to keep wearing. I should have been out getting new pants today, but ended up napping and watching "Life After People" which is pretty much the most stimulating thing my preggo brain can handle, before I suddenly realized that I forgot to go shopping. And that is pretty par for the course around these parts lately.

I have my CVS scheduled for Tuesday. The doctor I'm going to has an iatrogenic miscarriage rate of 1 in 1675 procedures, as opposed to the overall rate of 1 in 100 to 200 (depending on your source). She's been doing these since they were invented so she's the best in the area. So, I feel pretty confident in the safety of it, just scared of the pain, and the possibility of a bad outcome. I'm taking the day off of work and will probably be on some kind of bedrest afterwards, but planning to go back to work the next day. There's only a 10% chance of finding unbalanced genes, combined with the slight risk of your run of the mill trisomies which are totally unrelated to the translocation problem. They will be testing for all of those as a default in the course of running the karyotype. And we'll also know if it's XX or XY of course! I don't know how long it takes to get the results back but I figure at least a few days. I'll let you guys know how the procedure itself goes though.

Well no wonder you don't answer your phone ---your sleeping all the time! LOL It gets better I promise....well for awhile, I'm starting to need a nap again in the afternoon. I got TONS of maternity shorts/skirts/pants from friends that I don't need...so when I get back to IL this weekend I will bring some over and see if you want them! I also have some preggo pops and a couple other pregnancy aliment treat-ers that I never needed so I can bring them also.
KUP on those test results!

First of all, YAY for pooping! I got that the worst the week after the baby was born.

I'm glad to hear that the nausea is slowly fading, that must be a relief.

Best of luck at your appt on Tuesday. We'll be thinking of you and praying for excellent results and no pain for mama during the procedure!

Pleaaaaase keep us posted as soon as you have the chance?? We miss you terribly when you forget about us! lol

I'm so glad everything is going so well for you! Well, the puking sucks, but it will be over soon! I'm anxious to hear how the CVS goes on Tuesday and I know everything will be fine!
