Have any of you been to the breastfeeding seminars at BRU? I am doing the one at our store tonight, and I'm kinda nervous! Especially since I have no children yet and know nothing about breastfeeding! It's basically just explaining the different types of pumps and nursing accessories, so I should be ok. I have a guide to go by. I'm just nervous that someone will ask a question I don't know the answer to. For those of you who breastfeed and pump, how long does it take to pump? Any good tips I can tell the moms to make it a little easier for them? Any suggestions or tips will be great!

Well, since it's free, I think I would go to it just to get a little more info on the products and everything.

it takes anywhere from 15min+ to pump - depending on the flow. Just let them know that you havent had kids yet so your not a pro in this department. I think youll do fine, you know the product, and have common sense Good luck!!

Ohh and one other thing to keep in mind, breastfeeding hurts regardless of wrong or right latch.

I have the Medela Pump In Style. It takes about 10-15 mins from start to finish. It's a GREAT pump for working moms or moms who are exclusively pumping.

You will do just fine.

I have an Ameda Purely Yours Double Electric. I love it. It takes me about 10 - 15 minutes to pump as well.

It hursts when baby latches on but only lasts for about 10 seconds or so.

Michelle, if someone asks a Q you aren't sure how to answer, take their details and tell them you will try to find out an answer and contact them with it?
