Didn't all or some of your kids have a milk sensitivity (and maybe wheat as well?) What were their symptoms? How long after giving up dairy did it take to see improvement? How long did you have to alter your diet and how strict were you about it?

Matthew is having some reflux symptoms, spitting up a lot and some of the time he is a "happy spitter" but sometimes he cries and seems like he is in pain. It could be GERD but I know I've read it could also be a food sensitivity, which is usually dairy so I gave up dairy about 3 days ago. I haven't seen any improvement yet.

Yes, Ethan and Alyssa both. I gave up major sources of dairy (milk, yogurt, cheese, etc), but Ethan didn't improve. So then I began carefully reading labels and cut out all products containing even tiny amounts of milk. It took 2-3 weeks for us to see improvement in him, but he was never very fussy about it, he just had bloody green stools. Tough little guy.

With Alyssa, she was a fusspot, cried all the time & was totally miserable. I cut out all sources of dairy right away (learned my lesson after Ethan), and within about 3 days, she was less fussy, but it did take about 2 weeks for her bowel movements to return to normal and for her to be completely happy.
