This week was my first week of training for that work at home data entry job. After working my normal FT job I went to the training. I have been working from 8 AM to 8 PM! Plus, Oliver has not been sleeping good at all. It was a rough week because I didn't get much time with him. I'm so happy I have a long weekend a head. I'm off Sat, Sun, & Mon from both places and I took Tues off from my FT job. I finish my training next Friday. Then I get to take a computer home and start working 6 hours per day, 5 days per week from home. I'm going to kill myself with too much work.

If it works out will you be able to quit your ft job though? And how are you liking the training? Does it seem like a good fit for you?

You are a tough cookie! You can do this: you are a fighter and a winner! It is only a short time that you need to work all those hours, so keep up a positive attitude! Gooooooooo, Resi!

I hope it works out too. I was going to ask a similar question to Jess' about you quitting your job.

I hope everything works out and you'll be able to eventually quit your ft job! Good luck.

Yes. There is a good chance I will be able to quit my current ft job if this one works out. I get paid per piece and that means I have to get through a lot of claims. What I do is proof and fix medical claims. So far I'm slow but improving each day a little. I was told it's normal to not be able to do a lot per hour in the beggining. After a while I should get fast. I like the training so far. It does seem like a good fit. My plan is to pay off as much debt as possible by working both jobs this summer. Hopefully by the fall I can leave my ft job.

Oh.. right now it's a 6 month assignment with a good chance of going to a perminent position. There are currently about 20 keyers that have been doing it for a year. They have awesome benefits. Everything I could think of.. Even pet insurance! I can work either 6 or 8 hrs per day from home. It's flexible enough that I can choose my hours but I have to stick to them.

That sounds so awesome Resi... and it'll feel fantastic to have all your debts paid off too! You can totally do this, and I bet it'll feel more normal the more you do it and you'll get used to the hours, etc. And of course, being able to be home with Oliver makes it all the more bearable I'm sure!
