Oliver started screaming for what ever reason last week. He does it like he is annoyed or something. I'm guessing this is something new he learned to do. For example if he is in his high chair and I'm doing something (cooking etc.) he screams with his little eyebrows crinkled like he is ticked off. When I pick him up he stops. I think he is starting to learn how to get his way. He also does not like getting his diaper changed or clothes coming on or off. It's like wrestling an alligator.

Reid does the same thing. They have learned how to express themselves when they don't like something. Reid will straight up FROWN at me if I'm starting to do something that he doesn't like, like turning my back to him or setting him down. haha.

Haha! Yep. It's almost always if I set him down or turn my back to him. I usually always give in and pick him back up. I hope I'm not starting a bad habit by doing this but I hate to see him unhappy.

Preston does this too. He does it when he's not getting the attention he wants or if Edward takes a toy from him. Crazy!!!! I also wrestle an alligator for diaper and clothing changes!! It gets worse for us at bath time. He used to love, now I can't get him in the darn tub.

DSD, Miki use to do this when she was younger. We refuse to make it a habit, so I'd either look at her and mimic what she's doing (normally she'd be crying or frowning up and pouting), I'd look at her with that "you aint fooling me" look and continue what I'm doing, or I'd yell out firmly "Mikayla" and she'd stop. She got the hint after a short time.
She still tries it occasionally now at 2, but she knows it doesnt work with me, maybe her bio-mom, but not with me or DF.
They are soooo cute though and you want to tend to them all the time to make sure that they're happy, but she wouldve drove me crazy had I let her win.
