#1 - GOOD NEWS - the genes are all accounted for - which means that the baby has all of the required genetic material to develop correctly and nothing is added/deleted. The baby has the same balanced translocation as DH, which means it will develop normally both physically and mentally, just like DH did, but will most likely have problems with fertility as an adult, just like DH did. Meaning... I'M GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!!

Oh Kyle! I'm so happy for you I'm crying right now. That is such great news! And I had a feeling it would be a boy but didn't get a chance to guess before! Congrats to you and Eric on your baby boy!
