Was really nice. I doubt any of you read my blog, but it happened to be CD 2, and I was crampy and miserable for a good portion of it. But anyway, after some messing around, and me being tired, frustrated and ready for a nap {I had PT early}, Mike called me and told me his car broke down in front of the River {We live a block in}. I knew it was a "ploy", but I went down there.
I have been asking for a surprise picnic, and I got it He had chicken, watermelon, strawberries, pineapple, and some tasty wine. The weather was sketchy {JUST like our wedding day}, but it held up. It was very nice.
We then had our top cake layer with friends and came home and enjoyed hanging out together. He wrote me this super romantic nice letter {it's on my blog}, and everything was great. I am SO lucky to have him. Here are some silly videos and some pics.

Awww looks like a great anniversary! Glad that your cake was still good! Our venue had wrapped ours all up for us and told us it was all set to be put in the freezer so that we did. We took it out a year later and found that they had left the real flowers on it which had definitely died and oozed all over the cake. Talk about gross. **giggles** Oh well. The surprise picnic looks like a lot of fun too. So happy for you!
