I've been spotting off and on since Sunday. I thought it would be gone by now so i'm worried. It's mostly a brown color but has a tint of red too. It's not too much, just comes and goes. But i've had to wear a liner everyday so far. My temps are still high and looking good. I took a IC test this morning and it's darker than before so that seems like a positive thing. I'm just nervous about this spotting and really hope my little bean is okay!

Did any of you have spotting in early pregancy that sounds at all like this? I'm hoping someone will tell me that they did and everything will be okay. I'm making a doctor appointment today to make sure but i would really like to hear what you think.

I saw both posts and obviously I have NO experience, but I do know that relaxing is probably the best thing you can do right now. I think everything will be fine and work out. Have you made an appt yet?

I never had any spotting with my pregnancy. I know other ladies on here have and everything turned out fine. Try to relax and not stress about it. I know that isn't an easy thing to do.

As long as there is not a lot of red blood and bad cramp I think you should be fine. With my son I had a little spotting on and off though hardly enough to use a pad. My SIL spotted so bad she thought she was on her period and had no clue she was pregnant, she had a very healthy baby girl. If it gets worse or you're very worried maybe a trip to the ER would be good? Or call your doctor and see what they say.

I obviously don't have any experience, but I'll be keeping you and your bean in my thoughts. I'm sure everything will be fine.

Oh Krista - I hope everything will be fine...it probably will. I hope the doctor can see you and give you some kind of reassurance. I had spotting early on but not as early as you are....mine ended up being from low-lying placenta and eventually cleared up with pelvic rest, restricted activities and my uterus growing and pulling the placenta out of the way naturally.

Keep us posted hun!

Try keeping your feet up and staying hydrated. If you aren't having cramping and it's mostly old blood then it's probably not a big deal. As other posters have mentioned -- some women spot throughout their pregnancy, some even enough so to think it was AF and not know they were pregnant. Hang in there. I'm sorry for the scare.

Sweetie, the brown blood is okay. I know it makes you worry but there have been other ladies here that had brown blood and they were okay. When I was preggo with Edward, I was about 10-12 weeks and I started bleeding heavily bright red and I was cramping horribly. I thought for sure that I was miscarrying him. Now, I know this isn't with everyone, most of the timethis isn't a good sign. But for me everything turned out fine and he's turning 4 next month. As long as there isn't bright red blood, no heavy cramping and you ONLY need a liner vs. a pad, you should be okay. If you're worried, call the doctor. KUP!!! Hang in there Sweetie!

I had spotting that was light pink (not brown) for 2 days somewhere between 4-5 weeks (can't remember the exact date).

You're on your feet all day for work, right? That could definitely do it. I had been on my feet all day two days before I started spotting, and I think that's what caused it. Once I sat on my butt and drank some water, I was fine.

((((huggles))))

I'm sending you sticky dust and keeping my fingers crossed tightly for you! Please try to take it easy. The cervix can be really sensitive.

I think the stat is like 28% of successful pregnancies have some spotting. (stats and stuff always make me feel a little more normal so thats why I'm sharing it).
When is your next appointment?

i spotted pink and brown for 3 weeks after AF was due, as long as its not red and your not cramping bad (AF type cramps are normal) then you should be just fine.

I always heard spotting, especially brown, is normal this early on. It is a good sign you temps and tests are still where they should be. I didn't get early spotting, but I did get it randomly around 8 weeks or so and freaked out b/c I always heard it was normal to get it early and not later. There is always something it seems! Hope you are feeling better

If it helps, I spotted and bled on and off through my whole first trimester and he is now a healthy and active 3 1/2 year old.
