Oh Krista, I really don't know. I am sorry you are going through this though I know the numbers can vary greatly though and the next result will be what tells you where you are at. You are in my thoughts and I am sending you tons of sticky dust

I can't say off of one number (the range is HUGE for normal---but its over 5!!) The second test results will give you more of an answer.

This is why I never had a beta done! As long as youre still getting BFP's when you POAS then youre still pregnant. I will pray your numbers more than double on Saturday!

I've always been told the first number means nothing, especially because you are still in the normal range. I would wait for the second beta number before deciding anything.

If you're only 15 dpo (or maybe even earlier if you calculated wrong) it sounds to me like that beta number could still be healthy, just early.

Lots of t&p I pray that your number on Saturday is double!

I'm sorry you have to wait before you know more. But like the other ladies said, you're still in the 'normal' range and it's the next numbers that matter. Hang in there and I hope the time passes quickly for you.

I wouldnt worry until you get the next one. A friend of mine just did IVF. Her first beta was at 14DPO and it was low 30s...and she has a healthy pregnancy. I definatly think this doesnt mean anything for you yet.

Hoping for high numbers next draw.

I'm so sorry you have to play the waiting game, sweetie. I know firsthand just how much that sucks.

One beta number on it's one really does not mean much of anything this early in your pregnancy. Only when you have a second number to compare it to will the picture come into focus. Thirty-one may seem low but you never know just what all may have transpired from fertilization to implantation - it may have taken a bit longer than average (which is still normal) and therefor your lil zygote didn't get a jump on secreting hormones right away. With so many variables affecting everything with early pregnancy - exact time of ovulation, fertilization, implantation, etc - I would say try to keep your chin up until you know more.

T&P's Krista. I also don't know exactly what this means....but I seem to remember that my first beta with DS was very low too - since I was probably like a day pregnant when they did it....that's how I found out I was preggo. Like the other girls said the next one will give you a better answer cause its suppose to double. Good luck hun!

It doesn't matter how high your numbers are just that they are doubling. At 21dpo you can have as low as 18 and still go on to have a healthy pregnancy. You'll be in my T&P's, I really hope your numbers go up.

Sending you doubling dust. I really hope your numbers are up with the next draw. It's awful that you have to go though this.

I agree with everyone else. One beta number means nothing on its own, what matters is what their doing over a 24-48 hours then thatll tell you whats going on. And 31 is not low for 15DPO. And yea, the ultrasound wont show anything for a few more weeks. Good Luck, im sure its gonna be just fine.

Loads of Sticky Sticky and TONS of doubling and tripling and quadrupling number

I'd say try not to worry as much. After you get your 2nd beta, if the number goes up and is still within normal range... I agree with the other ladies on potentially not getting any more betas.

How are you feeling (pregnancy wise)?
