I usually pump 3 times a day now. I was pumping 4 put stopped doing my first pumping when waking up. Today I have only bumped 1 time! I don't know what my problem is. I hate it but I NEED to do it so Oliver has his milk and my supply doens't go down.
Who else hates pumping?

ME!!!!!!!!!
My goal is to do EBM for 6 months. We go out every other Tuesday and he takes approx 8oz during that time. I hope to make my current stash last that time. Then I'll just be using formula when he's baby sat and nursed when I am with him. Hopefully I can do that (plus solids) for a while longer.
But I may still pump BM for thinning food and making cereal.

I made myself go pump.. better to do it while at work than when I get home. I don't want to waste any time pumping at home when I can be holding Oliver.

I didn't mind pumping at first, but the longer that I did it, the more often I started to forget to wait too long in between sessions. That's how my supply dwindled I don't pump at all anymore- he gets formula about 60% of the time (nurses 2 or 3 times a day)

I hate it!! I'm currently pumping about 5 times a day (3 of those at work). I do it because I have to but it's a pain.

I hate it Especially because I don't get much at all. But I refuse to give up until he's 2 months old.

I absolutely hate pumping, I'm convinced it is the most boring, mindless task in the world. I only need milk occasionally so I don't need to pump that often but unfortunately I need to do THREE pumping sessions just to get Vivi one bottle.

I have a love/hate relationship w/ pumping. I'm using my freestyle pump now as we speak. It's a necessary evil for me because I can't nurse all the time due to various factors...but I do know that if I were able to nurse him for every feeding I definitely have enough milk for him. I have to go back to work next month and I don't look forward to pumpping there at all just because I'll have to do it in my classroom, and I haven't gotten my schedule yet for next year so I'm not exactly sure how often I'm going to pump, either. I do know that I want Joshie to have BM till one year if at all possible, even if it's only once a day, so that keeps me going. I used to pump six times a day, but not any more. I love nursing, but he usually takes an hour to eat so if I have to be somewhere or do something I can't always do it.

I am soooooo thrilled that I am going to be able to stop pumping soon - I also hate it! I will nurse Ben as long as he lets me (well, to a point, I won't be nursing a teenager!), but I plan on ditching the pump by his first birthday or shortly after. I CANNOT WAIT. I think starting next week or later this month, I am going to drop to pumping only once a day at work (currently I'm down to twice) - I think my freezer stash should get me through until he's past his first birthday.

ME!
I absolutely LOATHE pumping. It hurts really bad, and I get pretty much nothing (like 2 oz if I am LUCKY).
I am getting to the point where I just don't wanna do it anymore.

The only reason I don't like doing it is because it's BORING! I get about 4-6 oz when I pump so I'm doing good but it's so boring and takes 10-15 mins. BUT, it's worth it for Oliver.

I always hated pumping. I hardly ever got anything out so maybe that's why, it seemed like a pointless effort. Once I became a SAHM though the only reason for me to pump was if I was going to be out so bottles rarely came into play. I'm like Kate though, it took 3-4 pumping sessions just to get one bottles worth.

I am not a fan. I try to pump once a day just on one side and get anywhere from 0.5 to 3 ounces depending on how full I am. I'm trying to build up a freezer stash so he can have bottles for when we go on a date someday.... And then he takes an occassional bottle from Dh or someone to give me a break and some sleep. It never freaking works though, they will give him a bottle and he'll still be hungry and want to nurse like 30 min to an hour later.
