Ok so here's a weird question... Sorry if it's TMI.
I got what I'm pretty sure was AF about 2 weeks ago. It's the first one I've had since January 12th, 2009... Now the weird part is that every time DF and I DTD since then, I bleed afterwards (usually spotting for 2 days) although last time, it was definitely more than spotting for the first day...
It's making me nervous. Do you think it could just be because I didn't have AF for so long (5+ months)? Has anyone ever experienced this?
Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies!
Hmm. Did you have a really heavy period 2 weeks ago? I would think after AF was missing for so long you'd have a lot of lining to shed... I don't know though. Maybe a cyst or something with your cervix that's getting irritated. I'm not sure, but I'll bet that someone else will be able to give you some good advice/opinions on what's up!
no it wasn't really heavy. it was fairly light for about 5 days or so. no spotting light, but still relatively light. no cramping or anything either... except for after last time we DTD, after that I had some cramps like in the crotch area, not really in the uterus area...
All I know is based on my own experience. I went without AF for 5 months and it was a normal period, even light like you mentioned yours was. PCOS caused my problems though, and so the entire 5 months I was not building up a quality lining, so my period was not super heavy. But there was no weird spotting afterward. I would get it checked by your doc just to make sure nothing strange is going on (like a cyst). I know the rare case of spotting even with sex can be normal, but I am no doctor!
