Some of you may remember last year when we found out my Granny had terminal lung cancer. We went to Michigan in November to spend some time with her because they said she probably only had about 6 months left. Well, one of my aunts called my parents today and told them that Hospice told them she probably wouldn't make it to the weekend. And then only about 4 hours later, they called again and said it would probably be hours not days now. So, I told my parents to keep me updated even if it was the middle of the night. I'm not sure if I'll be able to afford to go to the funeral or not. They plan on driving up, but I guess we're just gonna figure out what to do when it happens. I really want to go. I didn't get to see her very often, but I have really fond memories of the few times we did get to spend time with her, and then of course when we went up there last year, she was still doing ok, so we got to visit with her alot then. I'm so glad we got to have that time together. I'm not a total mess about it because we weren't like really close or anything since she lived so far away, but it is still upsetting. So, if you all could keep me and my family in your thoughts and prayers as we go through this, it would be much appreciated.

Update- I just woke up about 10 minutes ago and my Dad called right when I woke up to let me know that she passed away around 5 this morning. They said don't worry about money, they'll work it out, so I'm for sure going. We'll probably leave tomorrow sometime and get back Mon-Tues. Thanks for all the hugs and prayers.

I'm so sorry. I hope her passing is peaceful. It's so hard when these things happen and you are too far away to be there. I had my cousin's nana (other side of the family) pass away when I was living overseas and I felt so useless.

BIG HUGS to you and your family xx

I know how difficult it can be to have a grandparent pass away even when you have mentally been preparing yourself. I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts. Have a safe trip and know that all of your JM girls are thinking of you!
