I caught some Oprah today, and some woman asked this Oprah panel about how she could live more in the "mom moment" (or something like that) when she is doing dumb stuff like driving kids around or doing laundry. Then this spiritual panel started giving her some BS about how we should feel self-fulfilled even while doing laundry. Are you freaking kidding me!?? How about when I drop a deuce, should I feel "self-fulfilled" then? Maybe they were saying more then that, but I was hardly paying attention. I was flipping between that and Maury, which is so freakin funny. Why do these women go running off stage and throw themselves on the floor after getting lie detector results? Funny stuff.

Anyways, as you can see I am BORED out of my mind! This is week 3 of no job and I can't stand it anymore! All morning I felt like I got hit by a truck, and all afternoon I was bored. Maybe being a SAHM won't be such a good idea . . .

I'm so sorry your bored....but I totally feel you. The first few weeks after Harrison was born I was totally busy and so glad to be off work...but once he and I got into a routine, I really missed my grown up life. I had no friends that stayed home - even the moms were back at my office and I missed them. I just missed doing my thing....now don't get me wrong I was out of that office as soon as the whistle blew and I'm still that way to this day so I can get to my boy and play with him and be with him....but I just couldn't do it all day. You'll find that you'll be very busy after he's born so you should be just fine!

But I'm all for more vids....and I'm off to check out the additional one you posted!

Yeah, I find being a SAHM is anything but boring. Kids tend to keep you on your toes! Then again, I was never cut out to be a "working woman."

Even though you are bored, that is nice though really that you aren't at work. You have got everything set up and ready to go and that is going to help you tremendously! Go clean your toilets and feel self fulfilled.
Dude I know I am in the mom moment when I am wiping a poopy butt or having my son pee on me, lol.
I think you'll like being a SAHM, you just have to find ways to get out of the house. I am getting antsy and starting to venture out even though I'm tired.

I got bored with Oprah last night too! And what is up with all the repeats?! There was more to the episode than that (from what i watched at least) but it bored me to death still. Hope you have been finding ways to keep yourself busy! I totally just realized today is Jack's due date Hope he decides to come quickly for ya hun!
