UGH! I am so mad! I feel sick now! DH ran to the gas station to pick up some soda and I asked him to get me something to drink from there with flavor... juice, whatever. I'm just so thirsty and water isn't quenching it-- I want SODA. So he brought me home a chocolate milk. I was pretty excited... I don't drink milk, but chocolate milk I can handle. So it was all nice and cold and I just drank this whole bottle ... which, now, looking at it -- is a pint. and it has 210 calories in it... PER SERVING. There are two servings!
I just had 420 calories of chocolate milk.
I seriously am like about to cry. What a WASTE. Ugh! I so don't want to get fat. and I just drank like a whole meal worth of stupid milk. That's what I get for just enjoying something. BAH!
I really am about to cry over this stupid milk. %$#^%$#%#@!

I can understand your frusteration. I dont want to get huge either. But once in a while, some calories are just spent ...gone, done, all used up...on silly things like choc. milk. But this is a drop in the buckey when looking at your diet throughout your whole pregnancy. You will stay beautiful and have the cutest round bump...chocolate milk and all!

Also, think of the nutrients you got from the milk!! But I agree, I hate to drink calories!

I ate nothing but junk in the first tri (it was all I could stomach without getting indigestion and nausea), and I only gained 1.5 - 2 stone & lost it afterwards (BF rocks!)

Don't be so hard on yourself!! It wasn't like it was even empty calories- milk is good for you! I didn't watch what I ate when I was pregnant at all.

Just be thankful you don't have GD (at this point at least) and have to write down everything you eat, quanity, type, time, etc. It's a total b***h and would give anything to have 400 calories worth of chocolate milk at one sitting. There is always a silver lining Shannon!

Don't worry about it! It's just a one time thing. Your not going to get fat. I never paid attention to my calorie intake while I was pregnant. I drank a lot of chocolate milk, milk, and 100% juice at least once per day. Normally I just drink water. I gained about 45 lbs and I lost every bit of it plus more in 6 months. BF will get all that weight right off.
Oh, and I'm still able to eat whatever and the BF keeps the weight off!

Don't worry about it, just have a lower calorie meal. Now, if you do this everyday, you WILL eventually start to gain. But a one time deal is nothing. Just enjoy the chocolate milk and move on. Im on WW and I know that feeling and that's all you can do, is accept it and move on.

Don't worry about it! There are times when you will have cravings and you will indulge. I tried to eat healthy for the most part because I could not use the vitamins so I needed to try to get as much nutrients from the foods I ate but apart from that I was not concerend about the calories, etc. Enjoy your milk and feel good about it. I'm sure you're not going to be drinking or eating high calorie things every day.

On the brightside Hon, it's just a pint. My mom drank a gallon of milk during her pregnancy with me. Have you seen "Look Who's Talking"? The part where Kirsty Alley is drining the gallon of juice, that's how my mom was with WHOLE milk during her pregnancy with me. My dad said she did it with my brother too!

Your body is telling you need something---thats usually what cravings are for.......its ok to have them, just shot for moderation.
You would throw up if you hear the daily crap I have eaten this pregnancy.

Girl....chill You deserve to have a treat once in a while and it WILL NOT do anything to your weight if you have in moderation.

Don't worry about it. I've had plenty of moments like that. In fact, I've been absolutely amazed by how much I am able to eat while pregnant! I feel like all I do is eat some days and yet I am still perfectly on track with weight gain. I think I only gained 5 lbs in all of the first tri ("they" say a 5-7 lb gain is great in the first). Plus milk is healthy! You're set on calcium for awhile.

I agree with the others. You're way to hard on yourself girl. It will not make you fat in the least! I wouldn't worry about chocolate milk. I'm just planning on having sweets in moderation. Actually you got me craving chocolate milk now!

I do that and I'm NOT pregnat! Go for a walk with Ben after dinner and you'll burn it off! Or if you're up to it there's even more fun ways to get rid of 400 calories! Enjoy!
